Kay I'm done being all sappy. Enjoy the story, my young demigods.
Percy's Point Of View
I wake up feeling... Better than I have in 200 years. I got sleep, and I'm not being tortured. I still am a little on the inside, and maybe that's even worse than physical pain, but hey, I slept! Sure, maybe it was only for 3 hours, but that's longer than I have slept for around 40 years! Down there, if I even got sleep, it was maybe for an hour at the most. So yeah, sleeping for 3 hours, filled with nightmares about what happened in Tartarus? Great!

I almost walk out of my tent without my Greek hoodie (that's what I'll call it) on, but at the last second, I notice because I accidentally step on the navy colored fabric.

I slip it on, and the hood drapes over my face. I look down a tiny bit in order to see, and squint. The world is so bright compared to the blood red fog of Tartarus.

I look back down. Under the spot where the Greek hoodie was, are some black Adidas sweatpants. Freshly washed and brand new. No blood stains, holes, rips, tears, heck, not even a grass mark or a patch of dirt.

I slip on the new pair of pants and walk out of the tent.

The hunters are already making breakfast. It almost looks like they're grilling bacon over the fire. It doesn't smell like bacon, though. Smells more like ham.

Thalia offers me a plate. "It's ham, Theron. In case your male brain couldn't wrap itself around that." She smirks, getting some giggles from the other girls. Even Artemis can't help but snicker.

"Actually," I reply, "I was kinda guessing it was ham. Also, I can't really eat. Reason one, two centuries of no food? My stomach probably wouldn't like that. Also, I was cursed when I was in Hell. It should hopefully go away soon, but for now, whenever I try eating, I just vomit it up, along with a lot of blood. It's not what I'd call a pretty sight."

She blinks. "Okay then."

I mentally laugh again. Her confusion.

Phoebe looks at me. "Theron, could you please take your hood off?" I shake my head. "Why?" She pleads.

"I can't. No more questions."

The girl with the platinum blonde hair looks at me, too. "So, what exactly happened to you in, erm... The... Um, Tarta..."

"Tartarus?" I say for her. She nods. "What's your name?"

"Marley." She tells me.

"Marley. Nice name. So. You girls wanna know what happened to me in Tartarus?" They all nod. "So, a long time ago, I had friends. Yeah. Shocker. Anyways, then one day, I met a man who was my cousin, and he despised me. I found out that he had been dating my girlfriend for years, he had tried to murder me many times, he caused all of my friends to betray me. In the end, I ran away, but ended up being kidnapped and brought to Tartarus. There, I was tortured daily for 200 years. I'm finally free, but when I left that stink hole, I requested from the gods that they kill me. Blast my head off then and there, for all I cared. Lady Artemis was kind enough to offer me a position in the hunt, as her Guardian. Obviously, I accepted."

"Do you have any scars?" Thalia blurted, then put her hand over her mouth. "Sorry. Other than the ones on your arms, I mean?"

"It's fine." I tell her. "And yes, I do. My body is littered with infected cuts, bruises, large teats in my flesh, open wounds, and stab marks. A few bite marks, too. I have a scar on my cheek, too, but you guys can't see that because I have my hood on."

All of the girls look a little uneasy. They must be picturing my beautiful body!

Yeah, I went there. Problem? Take it up with my lawyer. He's imaginary. His name is Billy Bob.

Just playing.

Artemis looks at us. "Theron went through a lot in the past 200 years. Give him a break. He isn't as bad as other men."

"Like Percy." Thalia says, and Phoebe agrees.

"Who's Percy?" Some of the newer huntresses ask.

"I knew Percy." I speak.

"You do? How is he? Is he okay? Ugh, when I find him, I'll kill that kid. My cousin deserves a kick in the a-"

"He's fine. Well, except for the fact that he was practically dead on the inside last I saw him."

Thalia huffed. "He kinda betrayed the camp. Wait, is he the cousin that betrayed you? Are you a kid of Zeus, or maybe Hades? Not Hera. Demeter? No, you don't seem like a child of Demeter. Why did Percy do all that awful stuff?"

A young girl says, "Wait, that boy that hurt the demigod camp? That's Percy?"

I clear my throat. "He didn't. His life had been ruined, not the other way around. Domenik, that new camper, he was trying to kill Percy. But nobody believed him, and so he was banished. That was 5 years ago. I talked to him two years ago. He was heartbroken. He might be dead by now. I don't know."

Thalia shed a tear. "He didn't kill Annabeth? Who did then?"

"Domenik." I say instantly.

She gasps. "My brother? But he... No, he would. He's kinda a jerk. I met him once. I don't really like him. But, ever since Percy's banishment, he declared himself leader of Camp Half Blood. After that, Percy was supposedly dead, even though they couldn't be sure. He was marked as a Lost demigod."

I sigh. "I'm a Lost demigod, too. I was banished."

"You went to camp?" Phoebe asks.

"Yeah, and I don't plan on going back. I was also betrayed, remember? 200 years ago. I lost everything I had. It doesn't feel good to be Lost. The first time someone demotes you to being Lost, it feels really bad. Imagine having your heart ripped out. Your identity stolen. Multiply that feeling by 20. That's the feeling of being Lost. It never goes away. Once you're Lost, you never come back. You're Lost forever."

They look at me with a little more sympathy.

Artemis clears her throat. "Theron, may I speak to you? In private?"

I nod. "Of course, milady."

She practically drags me out of the camp's little clearing. I hear snickers from the girls and turn red.

"You won't be able to stay like this forever, Theron."

"Like what?" I ask.

"Your hood, it keeps almost slipping. I know that you want to change your identity." She explains

"And?" I ask.

"I can help you." She offers.
Ending this chapter there! Tee hee! Sorry for the wait. I might be able to update again tonight, if I can write fast enough. But of I don't it'll be tomorrow, I promise. See ya, fellow demigods!
