I FINALLY HAZ 1K, holy turd! Thank you! I feel so good right now. This is by far my most viewed story, and one of my favorites to write!
Now, on to the voting. Votes are in tomorrow morning. I'll say about 8:00 AM Eastern Standard Time, give or take. Any votes submitted after I post the results won't be counted. So comment what you want, Pertemis or brother-sister/friendship relationship, before it's too late!
Enjoy the chapter, my fellow demigods.
Theron's Point Of View
"Sup, Thals." I mutter, still angry to the core by Zeus' appearance."Explain, I said, Percy. How in the name or Hera's Wedding Underpants did this happen?" Thalia says, worried.
I sigh. "Pipe down, Thals. I don't wanna be heard. They don't know I'm Percy, and I like it that way."
Tears threaten to break free from Thalia's eyes. Artemis is kinda chilling on the sidelines, hanging her head. She's still clutching her bow.
"Are you really 217 years old, Percy?" Thalia asks. I nod, a grim expression plastered onto my scarred face.
"I did really spend 200 years rotting in Hell. It seemed like 5 years, but time moves different down there. I had to wait for 200 years to finally get out. Someone helped me out of there. I don't know who, but..."
"But what?" Thalia asks, and even Artemis picks her head up, also interested. She never heard this part.
"But I have a slight suspicion that it might have been Luke." I say. She gasps.
"Luke? How?!"
"Luke was Lost, too. Not many people know that, but he was. So, when he died, he did go to Tartarus. Kronos was torturing him down there because he ended up being on our side in the end. When I fell down there, my cell was next to his. We saw each other often. He said hi, by the way. He ended up escaping 4 years before I did. Honestly, he was one of the only reasons I tried to live. He reminded me every day that we both had family up there, no matter how Lost and betrayed we were, we would always have one person that cared for us. And, if we ever found that to be false, then we would need to believe in each other. When he escaped, he promised me he's come back. Those last four years, I had to believe he would. Otherwise I would have given up completely. The person that rescued me, found me just after a long session of "Stab The Percy." I was almost unconscious, and could barely see, but I was pretty sure it was him. I'm also pretty sure he lives somewhere out here, not in Hell anymore."
Both girls gulp. My stories aren't exactly Fairy Tale material.
Thalia hugs me. "I'm so sorry, Percy. You should have told me who you were sooner. I could have started helping you sooner."
I hug her back, but sigh. "I don't think I can be helped, Thals."
She slaps me, not too hard, across the cheek. "No. Shut up, Seaweed Brain. Don't say that. You can be helped. I'm not gonna let you keep rotting, you're out of there. Your torture is over, you're starting a new life, and I won't let you stay like this. Now, can your scars heal?"
I shake my head. "When I got down there, the first thing they did was curse me so that my scars would never heal. Then they cursed me by filling my lungs with blood. The coughing will start soon enough. Then they cursed me again, now I can't eat or drink."
Thalia hugs me, and even Artemis comes over and joins in.
We go back to our campsite.
When we get there, Artemis tells us to wait, goes in her tent, and comes out with another one of those Greek hoodie thingies.
I thank her, and she hugs me again.
"In bed, both of you." Artemis instructs. "I think we're gonna move tomorrow."
