It was night time when I went outside the church grounds. I was on my way back to the academy. If you think that they didn't stop me, you're wrong. They were insisting that I do it when I was already fine.

"Are you sure of this?" Asaki asked. Concern was visible in his purple eyes.

"Hai, certainly." I said.

"Do you understand the circumstances?" Ro asked. He sounded like he was about to squeeze me like a pulp.

"Red-kun, that's suicide." Rio pointed out. He was right. But I've made up my mind.

I even got a freaking headbutt from Ro. Could he use that kind of method, that guy! But in the end, they blessed me.

'Red-kun. Keep the petal close to you.' That's right. Asaki said that before I rushed out. Whatever the reason was, I was glad that I still had it.

"Sokode matte, giodai. I'm coming." I murmured as I ran under the illuminating moon. "Hang on."

I had so many questions to him. How he was able to escort me outside the academy? What happened to his eyes? Why did he push me?

I knew that entering the academy was hard. That's why I asked Ro (I know it's ridiculous) if he had any weapon to lend. Fortunately, he had a sword which was very suspicious. It was perfectly balanced unlike my sword before which was heavy. The hilt was covered with black leather. Something I couldn't understand was carved on its three-foot-long blade. The blade was black and the edge was silver.

With the sword hanging on my back, I reached the academy's territory. I hid behind a tall bush beside the road to the gates.

Where are you, Ryuuji? I thought. I couldn't risk entering the wrong room. It was night time. He should be in the rooms. But he already graduated. What if he was safe in the army? I badly needed information!

After taking a deep breath, I sneaked around the gates. I reached a huge stone at the side of the academy. I dug around it and finally, I found an opening. Ryuuji and I knew about the opening a long time ago. It led in to the underground tunnels just under the academy. I crawled inside. Stairs snaked down the dark. I took it and after minutes, I finally reached a narrow cavern with a doorway. I entered the doorway and found myself in the middle of a labyrinth. It was lit with torches on the walls. I took several twists and turns.

Finally, I reached a stair leading up a small metal door. I climbed up and opened the door. I found myself in the hallways of the dorms in the academy. It was so nostalgic. I shook my head and made myself remember my goals. I headed to my left where our room was. I reached a wooden door half open. I took a peak. It was empty. I mean, literally. No beds, no lockers. Then I noticed something scribbled on a wall inside it. I was about to say it out loud when someone did it for me.

"A crime scene where a traitor attacked and almost killed an examinee." The voice sent chills up my spine. It was his but not him. It was cold rather than cheery. I turned around. Standing just a meter in front of me was Ryuuji. "Long time no see, Red."
