I watched the hair dye fall down into the water. It was orange, like Cadenza's hair. Just what I didn't want her to do. Now I'm going to look like there's fire on my head. Hopefully, this doesn't last too long. Underline that word, hope.

"And," Cadenza said, stretching out the word. Making me fearful of what she did to my hair. For all I know it could just be orange and not the fiery orange like Cadenza's. "We're done!"

Cadenza now stood in front of me, a hand mirror in, well, her hand. Sighing I looked at myself then back at Cadenza. I kept looking back and forth for a while until my neck started to hurt. I kept feeling the little drops of cold water hit it which made me shiver a bit. At least it wasn't too cold. She once threw freezing cold water on me to wake me up. I turned my thoughts back to my hair. My now fiery orange hair.

"I look like you," I admitted, her cheerful smile dropping into a frown.

"Do you not like it?" Cadenza asked. Clearly she hadn't heard me say that I didn't want it the fiery red like her's. I didn't want to make her feel bad though.

"N-no, I love it," I smiled, trying to hide the fact that I was lying. I didn't like lying to Cadenza, or anyone for that matter. That's why I almost never lie.

Cadenza's smile returned and she nodded. "Good. Well, I'm off to go collect some flowers. See ya Garroth!"

"See you," I said quietly as I watched her skip away.

I stood there still looking into the hand mirror that Cadenza had now placed in my hand, well before she skipped away that is. I looked back to where she once was, instead of seeing her I saw the Crazy Chicken Shaman, Castor. And beside him an army of chickens. I ignored him though, he did have a golden lasso in his hand. And those usually mean trouble since whoever is in them can hear what is happening. An easy way for a spy to sneak in for something. Wait, was Castor a spy? Nah, he's too crazy for that.

I headed out to Meteli, where Kenmur, one of the villagers I guess, was walking around. I kind of felt bad for him, even if he liked my sister. He did lose his lover in the Nether a few months ago. I don't know how he moved on so fast, it's almost like he completely forgot about her. He likes Cadenza now though, which annoys me. A lot. Actually, it doesn't just annoy me it makes me kind of furious.

Sighing I walked past him. We had so much in common actually, we both have lost someone. Kenmur lost Sasha and I lost Joh. Joh, my adoptive father until Hayden took me in when he was shot by an arrow to the heart. I felt a tear fall down my cheek, even if it had been a year I still missed him. Who wouldn't miss someone who had taken care of them for most of their life? I sure missed Joh a lot that's for sure.

I wiped the tear away and continued with my job. I am the head guard, both Hayden and Kenmur had said they would love to have me as their head guard. Speaking of Hayden and Kenmur their both up, fighting for the position of the new lord of Meteli. Which kind of surprises me, it's been a year already you would've thought they would've picked someone already. I think it's funny though, both have a relationship with Cadenza, Hayden is her father and Kenmur likes her, which is one sided I believe.

"Garroth!" Someone yelled, making me turn around. It was Hayden. As he came closer to me a puzzled look came onto his face. "You looked like Cadenza at first, but I could tell it was you by the uniform!"

"Geez, thanks," I said unsure of what he was talking about. Wait, my still dripping wet, now fiery orange and red hair. Right, Cadenza had dyed it, I was so caught up in my thoughts I forgot about it. I sighed. "Cadenza went to go pick some flowers."

"Thanks," Hayden smiled, laughing a bit. "But I think I liked you better with the blonde hair instead Garroth."

"I did too, this was Cadenza's idea," I explained. Sighing.

"You could've let me do it," Hayden blurted out.

"And lose an idea, no way!"

I actually had this done the day after I posted the first one, so you might want to expect me to write a lot for this book. I've actually got a binder full of paper now that I bring everywhere I think it's got like three hundred pages plus the eighty page note books I have in it as well. Hehe, I write a lot. I hope you guys enjoyed! Bye!
