Jake's POV

It was the top of the third inning when it happened. Jake was outside on the patio watching the game. His friends were inside dunking and watching the game on TV. The batter hit the ball. It was coming right at Jake, so he thought he could catch it. He leaned over the edge to catch it, but he leaned a lot but too far. Jake started to fall. As he was falling his life flashed before his eyes. He kept thinking he was going to die. He was about to hit the pavement when he didn't. He was saved. He was still alive, but how. Who saved him? He had closed his eyes before he thought he was going to hit the ground. He was too afraid too pen his eyes, and the person who caught him seemed to realize that. They person who saved him whisper something to him. He could tell from their voice it was a female, a young female. When Jake heard her voice, he relaxed and opened his eyes. When he saw his savior, he caught his breath. She was gorgeous. She was breathtaking. He thought she probably didn't think she was because she was wearing her hair in a ponytail. She, also, wasn't wearing any clothing that showed of her features. In his mind, though, she was drop dead gorgeous. After a few more minutes of staring at her, he realized everyone was staring at them.

"Want to come with me somewhere more private." He whispered in her ear.

All she did was nod her head.

A/N These chapters are shorter than I thought they were. I originally wrote this story on notebook paper and I tend to write big, so I was expecting these chapters to be longer than they actually are. They do get longer, though.
