♡ Josh's pov ♡

"Remi, Remi what's wrong? Are you there?"

I hang up the phone after Remi wouldn't respond, I had to act fast. She was hallucinating the entire call. I'm worried about her.

"Tyler I need to go, Remi needs help," I say as I leave grabbing my car keys off the counter top.

Tyler steps in front of the door barracading it from me exiting.

"Why?" He asks.

"She said she was hallucinating and in pain, weird noises, then she just passed out mid call. I need to help her," I say as I try to pry Tyler off the door.

"I'm coming with. I want to meet this... Remi," Tyler says and opens the door. We both run into my car and head out, him driving, then we noticed there was LA traffic.

"I'll call 911," I say frantically as I pull out my phone and dial the numbers. Tyler nods and gets focused onto the road again.

After a few rings a lady picks up,

"Hello, 911 what is your emergency?"

"Yes, hi, my friend Remi called me and said she was having hallucinations and pain everywhere, then she passed out mid call and haven't heard from her ever since. Her address is... [ insert Remi's address]." I say into the phone.

"Thank you the ambulance will be on its way immediately,"

Then she hangs up. I sigh and put my phone into my lap.

"Dude, I don't even know what's wrong with her, I'm terrified," I admit and run my hands through my hair.

"Don't worry, the ambulance is on its way." Tyler reassures me and turns into Remi's Neighborhood as shown by the faint GPS in the background.

We let the gate open for us and Tyler followed where I pointed to. To my surprise an ambulance wasn't there yet.

I run out of the car and to the doorway, I feel the cold handle against my shaking hand  and frantically try to open t he front door. I remember what Remi said and found a bird bowl to my right.

I lifted the heavy stone bowl and found a key lying under it. I grab it and unlock the door revealing a large drab house.

"I'll check on the first floor and basement if there is one," Tyler says as he snuck up behind me. I nod my head and run up the stairs.

I find Remi motionless and pale on the floor with her phone shattered by her side. It's shattered like my heart.

My instincts kick in and pick her frail body off the ground and run down stairs to Tyler.

"Found her," I said and Tyler turned around. His expression was sad to look at when he saw Remi in my arms.

Sirens blasted outside of the house and paramedics bust through the door that was unlocked.

The came over with a dark blue gurney behind them and I hoisted Remi onto it watching her lifeless body being carried out.

"Are you in any relations with her?" A paramedic asks.

"Just a friend," I reply. I didn't want to say that, because deep down I knew we belonged together.

"I know her step brothers number though," I say to the man in a blue outfit turn around to the ambulance.

"Send him to the closest hospital we have no time to wait," He says and runs into the truck with flashing lights above it.

I watch as the white vehicle drives fast through the neighborhood to save Remi's life. Tyler puts his hand on my shoulder and reassures me.

"She'll make it. Call her step brother," He says and starts to walk to the car. I nod my head and pull out my phone and search through my contacts until I find Davis. I press the button and wait for it to pick up until he answers,

"What Josh?"

"Remi, go to the nearest hospital to your house. She will be there,"

"What happend?!"

"She called me saying she was seeing and hearing things then passed out mid call,"

"I'll be on my way, an thanks for telling me. You did the right thing,"

He hangs up his phone.

I close and lock the door to the house. I place the small key back under the bird bowl and got into the car.

I buckled up and Tyler silently starts the car. I move my head onto the cold glass window separating the outdoors to the car and sigh. No reponse from Tyler.

My eyelids started to droop and soon enough the darkness engulfed me.
