Chapter 7: Snow White Fur

A tired sigh escaped from Chaeri's mouth as she walked the path to school, she didn't know how to face the seven guys this morning so she decided to leave the house early for school after posting a note on the refrigerator, something she regretted after because now she was very much hungry, the cold morning wind blew and she cringed as it caressed her skin and tousled her hair causing her to grip the straps of her bag tightly, she should have at least bought a sandwich and a bottle of juice at the nearby grocery store before she rode the bus,

"Why didn't I think of that earlier…" she sighed,

"Chaeri!" A voice called before she could enter the school gates and she turned around to see the most handsome sight she's seen this morning,

"J-jaeyoon…" She stuttered, he looks so fresh standing in front of her with that heart melting smile of his,

'I don't think i'll ever get used to seeing such a handsome face first thing in the morning…' she thought,

"Wow, you're very early today." Jaeyoon said making her blush,

"I could say the same for you."  She replied,

"Well…" Jaeyoon uttered "I have paintings to finish so-"

"Really?!" Chaeri's eyes widened "Would you mind if I could see you finish them?!" She asked excitedly, Jaeyoon's paintings are precious, everyone in their school admires them, his works of art are after all one of the things that got her attracted to him, she'd be more than happy to see him paint, it was one of her dreams,

"Sure-"

*GRRRRRR~*

Chaeri's face went crimson red followed by the loud silence that occured between them, she bowed down avoiding his gaze as her hands slowly clutched her stomach, Jaeyoon let out a laugh that made her face all the more redder than it already was her eyes warming up, what an embarassment!

"I think we should eat first before going to the art room." He said trying not to laugh,

"N-no, I-"

Chaeri found herself being dragged away from school, her gaze went to her hand which Jaeyoon was holding at the moment and the tears warning to fall from her eyes retreated, her heart started beating fast in exchange,

"Wh-where are we going?' She asked trying her best not to sound too happy,

"To a food place nearby…" Jaeyoon answered "I can't have my critic hungry while she watches me paint." He grinned and her heart pounded faster than it already did,

"Shhh…" Bambam placed his index finger in front of his lips warning the maknae to keep quiet, "be careful, we don't want them to know-"

"You don't want us to know what?!" Jb's voice boomed from behind and their backs straightened up as they faced the five scowling wolves in front of them,

"Hy-hyung…" Yugyeom stuttered afraid of the sharp gazes thrown at them, he knew he shouldn't have agreed to Bambam's idea of going out to see Chaeri, they haven't gone out of the gate yet and they were caught already,

"Planning to go out without me?" Jackson voiced in disbelief "You guys are uncool." He said crossing his arms,

"Where do you think you're going?" Youngjae asked raising a brow,

"Seriously, I can't believe you cubs haven't learned your lesson." Jr sighed,

"Didn't you just got punished last night?" Mark added,

"But Chaeri left without eating breakfast." Bambam uttered,

"We just wanted to know how she's doing ." Yugyeom agreed,
