chapter 4 the doorbell rang

Jocelyn Luke and Armitage went to go get movies.
Jace Clary and the kids went back to the Institut.e That Jace and Clary now we run.
Mom are you going to call Simon Lexi she asked? I will call him tomorrow. It is too late now to call him Clary said. Well he was a vampire Lexi said. He is not one now so it will be tomorrow Clary said.
Okay I might have a friend that is a girl I just hate that I have not been with a girl my own age for more than 5 minutes Lexie said a little sad. I'm sorry you need to get ready for bed and be in bed by 11. Your dad and I are going to bed and I mean it 11 no later tell your brothers that for me please Clary said.
Lexi with and knocked Matthews door. She waited till he answered the door mom said we have to be in bed by 11 and that she loves you.
She went down the hall to Tyler's room and knocked on the door and wait until you answer the door. I told him mom said to be in bed by 11 and that she loves you. After she finished Tyler asked is that it? Yes she said. At that Tyler said okay and slam the door to his room.
Then Lexie went to the library to read. She was sitting on the couch reading. The next thing you know she woke up by the doorbell ringing. She sat up and looked at her phone it said 7:30 a.m. the doorbell rang again. So she got up and grabbed her serve blade and she went to the door and heard someone walking down the stairs it was her older brother Tyler. Lexi open the door with her serve blade ready. They're on the other side of the door was a girl and a boy that looked enough alike that you could tell they were brother and sister. Then it hit her they were the kids from yesterday the ones that could see us through the glamour. They both look startled. Then Tyler came running to the door with his weapon of choice knives. When he got to the door ready for action. He lowered his knives and started laughing. He looked at Lexie still laughing and said still scared of 2 mundane kids. You had me thinking there was a demon or something more than mundanes at the door. Lexi turn red with anger and said I'm not scared of 2 mundanes. The only reason I went to the door with a Seraph blade is because no one rings the doorbell. Sawadee not know who was out there. We are sorry for catching you off guard. But we thought it would be rude just to walk in Makayla said. Doing Lexie out of her anger and Tyler out of his laughter. Lexi turned around and said thank you for ringing the doorbell it would be worse if you walked in and caught one of us off guard and in here and would you like anything. Makayla Enmark look at each other and nodded and stepped in. We would like a glass of water please said Makayla. Mark look at Makayla confused. Makayla answered the asked question. Just in case we need it. Mark then realized what she was getting at. Oh yes please I would like a glass of water said Mark.
They walk down the hallway into what looks like a dining room. Lexie said to sit down while we go get glasses of water. Mark and Makayla sat next to each other. As Lexi and Tyler walked out the door Makayla turned to Mark to ask. Do you think they are Roman's or Greek? He said I don't know. But who answer's the door with a knife. Yes I thought that was not right and what did he say about demons she asked with a worried facial expression.
