The8 (Seventeen)

You roamed the halls of your new high school wondering what path to destiny should you take. This was a strong point in your life. It could change the path of the world. Whether for the good, or the bad, it was your decision to make. The choice rested on your shoulders. The question was... What club will you join?

This school had many clubs, but you didn't know which one to pick. Some you wanted to join, but some you wanted to be a part of as well. It was driving you mad.

As you approached the end of the last club to look at you were almost hit by a flying notebook. You turned around to see who it was and saw one boy with brown hair, another with black hair, and two with bleached blonde hair. But one of them caught your attention. His blonde hair had curls, and his face was just too adorable. As the three walked past you and headed to the door, the last one, the one who caught your attention, stopped at your side staring at you. You stared back at him as his eyes glittered. His friends called out to him and he whipped his head in their direction. They called him to come and he grabbed your hand and dragged you along into the classroom.

"Why are you here?" the brown haired one asked you as you pointed to the blonde cute one who dragged you in here.

"I thought maybe she could join the club." he said trying to get the attention of the other two members as well. 

The other two agreed to let you join the calligraphy club. The one with the brown hair is Jun, one with black hair is Dino, and the other blonde one is Hoshi. But the one who had caught your attention, and was ridiculously adorable was named The8. 

You spent two days a week at this club, after school hours. Sometimes you guys met up during lunch and worked on your calligraphy. Since you were a new beginner in this field, and new in the club. The four of them payed a lot of attention to you (Notice Me Senpai). But The8 was around you all the time. When ever you needed help, he'd be there, ready to explain the world to you. He was very happy you were there in that club.

"I can tell The8 changed after meeting you Y/N." Hoshi said to you looking away from his work to speak to you. 

You laughed to yourself when The8 suddenly came and split between the two of you. You could tell he was getting jealous of the two of you. Dino had talked to you about The8 liking you.

You were having a hard time writing your "o"s. The8 noticed that. He wrapped his arms around you hand held your hand. 

"It's like this that the motion works correctly with." he silently said, as the blow lightly pushed away your hair revealing your ears and neck.

You pushed him back. You already had a boyfriend and did scream that out to him, and did not want to cheat on him. You did indeed like The8, but you weren't sure of your feelings. But you knew cheating was not the good thing to do. You stood frozen, staring at the floor as The8's fingers lingered on your shoulder. The air became awkward and you ran out of the room. 

When you stopped running you realized you were at the park by the school. You stopped by a tree to catch your breath, when you heard a familiar voice.

"Y/N?" He said and you looked up to look at him. It was your boyfriend.

"Y/N, I came to tell you, we should break up. I hooked up with someone  and thought, maybe I should end us." he said without mercy.

You took a step back, you had feelings for him when we began going out. You knew you wouldn't dare betray him, but he cheated on you. He betrayed you.

After the jerk left, The8 came. He slowly stepped beside you. While you were frozen on the spot, zoned out, he placed his hand on your shoulder and led you back to school. 

The next day, you returned with red puffy eyes. You had not many friends to help you. But when you entered the club room Jun, Hoshi and Dino came straight to you and began comforting you friendly. When The8 entered the classroom he ran to you and grabbed your hands. 

"I'm very sorry I did that to you yesterday when you didn't want me to. And I'm very sorry about what he did to you, he doesn't deserve you." he went on forgetting about his friends beside you.

When you suddenly laughed he stopped and looked at you with an adorable questioning face. 

"W-What's so funny?" he asked you. In your mind it was as if he was doing aegyo (means cute).

"It's just, with you." you began slowly speaking. "With you, I feel like there is nothing else to worry about in the world."

The8 looked at you funny, until you hugged him. And whispered into his ear.

"I love you." you said. "I love you more." he responded as you chuckled back.
