Your depth?
Our discourse may be.
I can't discern completely
What brought me close to you.
Your smile?
Your smirk may be.
Or your arrogance that's so carefree.
Uncertain how it happened suddenly;
This heart's abrupt cadence
In the thought of you.
A mistake?
No doubt.
And sheer stupidity.
A stupidity that shattered me
For I let myself fall with someone
Who won't feel the same way.
