Chapter 1: A Gloomy Night

[Welcome to Rain]

'Have you ever experienced such a gloomy night? Have you ever felt such a storm this big? Most people hate the rain, and a few were not so pleasant. Your just gazing at the endless downpour of water droplets that will soon hit the ground and fade. But rain doesnt feel so bad if you think of it. Rain gives music as the droplets collide with the ground. Rain gives plants the oppurtunity to grow again, and rain cools down most of the worries... or is it?'

Adrien's POV

[Scene: Adrien's Mansion]

Adrien gazed at the open window, looking at the downpour of water droplets with a faint smile. Plagg took a break eating his favorite camembert cheese and went to his owner, " Look kid, rain isn't all that bad.". Adrien just ignored the hovering kwami and sighed. " Whats wrong Adrien?" Plagg asked worriedly. " I'm fine Plagg, just finish your Camembert." Adrien responded with a groan. Plagg rolled his eyes and went back to eating his favorite Camembert, still looking at Adrien.

A doorbell is heard after Plagg devours the last piece of Camembert. Nathalie's voice was heard faintly but Adrien was still aware of the doorbell. He quickly hid Plagg and continued approaching the door.

He saw Marinette just infront of the front door of the Agreste's Mansion. Adrien asks Marinette, " Why did you come here?". Marinette answered with worry, " Can I stay here for a while?". Adrien sees no problems so he nodded. Marinette went to Adrien's bedroom and layed her head down the bed. Adrien went back to his spot, looking at the vast cities covered in rainwater.

Marinette shyly stuttered, " A-Adrien, umm... what are y-you doing?". " Just looking at the rain." Adrien responded with a sigh. Marinette just felt awful for him so she comforted him, " I brought something you might like." " No thanks, Marinette." Adrien replied with sorrow. " What are you thinking about?" Marinette asked. " Nothing, just imagining things." Adrien replied again. " Imagining what?" Marinette asked again. After that, Adrien burst into tears. Marinette felt sorry so she tried leaving.

" Dont go." Adrien finally looked at her. " Why not? Its better for you to cry in peace." Marinette explained but was nervous. " I.... I n-need a f-friend." He said while sniffing. Marinette smiled and sat beside Adrien.

" Tell me, who is your favorite friend?" Marinette asked. " You, Marinette... your a great friend." Adrien replied, wiping his tears. Marinette smiled blushing, " Why not Nino?". " Your... your special to me. Since the first day we became friends, I knew we will be great friends." Adrien let out a faint smile. " I think your my favoritr friend too." Marinette said hugging Adrien. " Thanks..." He mumbled but Marinette heard it.

A lightning appeared beyond the distance and thunder crackled, causing Marinette to jump in fright. " Your afraid of the thunder?" Adrien asked. Marinette shyly replied, " Y-yes...". " But only a little bit." She rushed the sentence. " Thats okay." Adrien responded with a smile, cuddling the frightened Marinette.

The thing that Adrien was thinking about faded away, making Adrien smile and was filled with joy. Marinette smiled with glee.

" So... what do you want to do?" He asked Marinette who is just sitting on top of the bed. " I think I need to go now." Marinette slowly replied. " Visit me anytime." Adrien said before Marinette left.

Marinette's POV

Marinette left the Agreste's Mansion, seeing Adrien waving a goodbye. Marinette smiled and waved back before leaving. Marinette went back to her original home and shut the door, taking a nap.

[Time Skip] Next Morning

Adrien was about to leave school after an akuma attack. Before he left, the news was on.

From what I have heard, The beloved superheroine of Paris, Ladybug, has been said to have disappeared due to the harsh weather conditions. Is this the last time we will ever see Ladybug again? and will Chat Noir disappear too? New footage to come.

Adrien was shocked and went out the Agreste's Mansion.

[Transformation Sequence]

" Plagg, Claws Out!" He yelled as he transforms into Chat Noir.

[Scene: Park]

Adrien searched the park as Chat Noir. It wasn't long before the people with umbrellas asks questions about the disappearance of Ladybug. " Listen, I also heard in from the news. Ladybug disappeared and I am searching for her." Chat said as he tried to run away. " Will you disappear too?" A interviewer asks. " No, I wont." Chat replied. He leaped and went to school 10 minutes late.

Plagg, claws off

[Scene: Classroom]

He arrived in the middle of Science class and went to his usual seat. Chloe transferred seats, now seating beside Alya. " Hey Adrikinz." She whispered at Adrien. " Girl, why are you here?" Alya asks with little anger. " None of your business, BRAT!" she yelled at Alya, now being angry. " Your the brat!" Alya countered and hissed back at Chloe. " Chloe, go back to your seat." The teacher said as Chloe went back. Alya stick her tongue at Chloe, now being frustrated. " Phew..." Adrien was heard after Chloe went back to her seat.

" Where is Marinette?" Alya asked Adrien. " I don't know... maybe she is late again." Adrien replied. " Typical Marinette." Chloe mumbled but Alya heard it. Alya was about to burst before Nino clamed her down. " Did you hear the news about Ladybug?" Adrien asked both of Marinette's friends. " She disappeared... no more Ladyblog for me." Alya frowned. Adrien heard Chloe sobbing about Ladybug disappearing. " That girl might not care about her classmates, but she can put up a cry when her favorite superheroine is missing." Alya rolled her eyes.

An akuma attack went hostile and Chat had a hard time catching the akumas, especially without her partner. Alya caught some akumas with jars and bottles big enough to trap the akuma. Chat mumbled, " Where are you Ladybug.".
