Chapter 4: Hall of the Lore

Adrien was sleeping when he heard footsteps midst the raindrops. Adrien felt curious so he looked at the window and saw a girl and an unkown beast. While Adrien continues to seek the creatures, his body disappears and isn't visible when he isn't soaked by the raindrops. After learning that the girl is Marinette (a.k.a Ladybug), they went back and met at a church, which gets interrupted by the beast.

And the story continues...

Adrien's POV

[Scene: Busy Street]

Adrien was still running, trying to avoid the unkown. He went near a church which will later be seen by Marinette. He explored the deserted church, finding different books on shelves. " Why would a church have books?" He thought and felt stupid, " Of course they would.". He began grabbing different books and sat down on the chair and neatly stacks the books. He began reading one:

Throughout ancient history, there were super-natural calamities that were summoned by a sorcerer deep within the mines of the oldest places on every country. When a super-natural calamity is summoned, it lasts forever unless the sorcerer wants to stop it. Go to different chapters to learn about the different super-natural calamities.

He stopped reading and wondered if the storm is a part of this 'super-natural calamities'. He continued searching the table of contents and found good information about a storm in this book.

The storm of disappearance is a endless downpour of special rainwater that makes beings as powerful as the storm to disappear, typically a superhero or mage. Effects of this storm can be avoided by regular umbrellas or specialized weapons that a superhero or mage wields. When raindrops hit your skin, you have the whole rest of the day to be visible before your body is invisible. However, this effect will not be felt when you are under this storm's water droplets. If you are in a place where the rain is covered, you wont see your own body and it will be hard it see.

Adrien looked through more pages on things that can remove the effects of this water. He found more information:

To stop the effects, you must find your doppelganger asleep in your bed. When you spotted your doppelganger asleep in your respective homes, you must awaken your own doppelganger, and by doing so, you regain your visibility again. However, if you step in rainwater, your visibility fades away. To stop the rain, go to on of the oldest places of your country and you will be able to find the sorcerer, simply catch the wand and do a simple reversing spell will reverse the rain and the effects.

Adrien almost squealed with joy as Marinette began inhaling and exhaling deeply. " Hows the monster?" Adrien asked as he puts back a book. " Its tough to handle... Tikki, spots off." She sighs in relief.

" I know how to reverse the effects of this rain." Adrien jumped with joy. " But we don't have much time, the unkown might catch us." Marinette explained. So they left the church, still having the books

[Time Skip] Afternoon

Both Marinette and Adrien went to Marinette's home. They slowly opened the door, hearing the news about a mysterious monster rampaging around Paris. They closed the door silently and went upstairs. Marinette went to her bed and saw her exact copy of herself sleeping. She tapped the copy and whispered 'wake up' but it showed no movement. Waking it up was easier said than done. " Why cant my doppelganger wake up?" She asked whispering. " Hmm..." Adrien opened the old books:

Waking up your doppelganger is not so easy if you tried it. Your doppelganger is stuck in an endless dream, and you must enter it and wake her up in the dream world. If you manage to wake her up in the dream world, your doppelganger will wake up and you will have little visibility. If your doppelganger disappears, your skin will be complete. Although, waking in the rain will cause your doppelganger to appear again.

" So I must wake her up in the dream world... how?" Marinette wondered. They heard a screech from the distance so that means the unknown is close by. Luckily for them, they were invisible.

The unknown walked by without noticing them. " Its getting late, wanna sleep in my house tonight?" Marinette asked. " I don't have extra clothes." Adrien replied. " I can make you some." Marinette smiled, " Besides, we are invisible.". Adrien giggled and nodded, even though they cant see each other. " Wait... with us not seeing each other, we can do stuff together." Adrien hold up an idea. " Not too wild okay?" Marinette quickly reminded and Adrien nodded.

[Time Skip] Evening

They were preparing to sleep. Adrien prepared the bed as Marinette made dinner. Marinette's parents weren't home so she prepared the dish. Adrien loved the dish and continued reading while Marinette brush her teeth.

How do you get into the dream world you ask? well, you got the wrong book.

Adrien was annoyed but he had 2 more books. Marinette asked if he found any information yet. " I didn't." Adrien said as he scan the second book.

To enter the dream world, you must be either a miraculous holder or a mage. If you are a miraculous holder, find a gem that correspond to your miraculous (e.g. Ruby of Luck). Transform into your superhero form and peform your upgraded powers, most especially 'Cataclysm' because it will be the way to open his/her mind. If you are a mage, find an orb and lay it around your doppelganger. Perform the required ritual and you are going to enter the dream world.

" That will be enough for one day." Marinette responded after Adrien read the instructions. " Your probably right." Adrien closes the book and put ot back.
" By the way, who wrote that book." Marinette asked before tucking herself under a blanket.
