Chapter 5: Rain and the Two

Adrien found a deserted church which seems to have all the answers about the 'Storm of Disappearance'. Both Adrien and Marinette now realize that they have a doppelganger sleeping on a bed. Marinette attempts to wake up her sleeping clone but it was easier said than done. Now, they have to find two jewels that correspond to their Miraculous. Will they be able to succeed with all the beasts lurking around?

And the story continues...

[Scene: Unkown Street]

Both of them ran as fast as they could. Adrien and Marinette previously encountered a beast and ran. They found a clearing where there is no rain. The beast didn't get them as he got confused on where he will go. Adrien sighed in relief and Marinette looked around for possible exits. They hold hands and continued their search. " Where will the gems be?" Marinette asks, " Check your book!". Adrien opened a page:

These gems are located near a deserted place where civilization used to work. There, hidden between darkness and rain itself, a spark of light remains after civilization deserted it. It remained and still stranded. if your lucky to find one, then you will find yourself below.

" Oh great.... a puzzle." Marinette rolled her eyes. " Hmm..." Adrien continued searching the book. A growl was heard and both of them were frightened. They left as soon as possible and the growl faded. " Lets go above!" Marinette thought.

[Transformation Sequence]

" Tikki, Spots on!" Marinette said as she turns into Ladybug

" Plagg, Claws out!" Adrien said as he turns into Chat Noir.

They leaped and took off. The roof was slippery, so they constantly slip and slide. " Deserted... A factory perhaps?" Adrien thought. " Or an office because work..." Marinette thought. They both look around to see a factory or an office. " I think I found one." Adrien said pointing at a broken factory. " Lets explore..." Marinette nodded and both of them leaped away. Chat's leg was pulled and He descended to a nearby beast. " Ladybug... Help... PLEASE?!" He screeched, hoping Ladybug comes in time.

The beast pulled as hard as it could and Chat's grip slowly grow weaker. Ladybug whacked the beast with her yoyo and helped Chat. Ladybug slipped however and fell near the beast, who is trying to stand up. Adrien broke some wood and that injured the beast's leg. " Nice thinking kitty~" She leaped to Chat's level as he blushed a purr. " Thank you Ladybug." Adrien blush turn into a smile, " For helping me.". Ladybug just smiled and they leaped off to the factory.

The factory was indeed deserted. Cracks of the factory revealed rain, so in places.... your invisible and in some places, you are not. Adrien didn't gave up finding his doubleganger in order to wake him from his eternal slumber. Deep from beneath the rubble and under the radar of the monster, lies a sparkling white glow illuminating some of the halls.

"What do you think it is?", Chat pondered. Ladybug swung closer to the jewels, staying low-key so the monster won't detect.

Those were the two legendary jewels. "Chat, read the book thingy, it will help us I'm sure of it.", Ladybug ordered in a whispering tone. "What?", it was so quiet, Chat can barely hear it.
