Chapter 3: Adrien and the Rain

[Welcome back to Rain]

Previously on Rain [ Quick Re-Cap]

Adrien was alone, on top of the Eiffel Tower just looking at the endless downpour. Master Fu was spectating the two beings, Adrien and Plagg. He was worried about the storm which provided reasons of why Ladybug disappeared. Now, Adrien heard rumors of Ladybug's unconfirmed death. He sobbed and almost didn't sleep.

And the story continuous...

[Scene: Agreste's Mansion] Night

Adrien slept while moving around his bed. The rain still didn't stop, Along with the rain appeared a girl. Their eyes met... Adrien felt a bit confused. At the time, he had not understood what those eyes were trying to tell him. The girl wasn't the only thing that appeared amid the raindrops. The shadowy form seemed to be chasing the girl. Adrien rushed off in th rain to pursue them. As he turned the corner, there he saw it. The door of light, leading off into the darkness. the two shapes passed through it, and Adrien followed after them through into the night.

The rain felt like falling endlessly on the town, beating down between the buildings and soaking the streets, revealing the shapes that Adrien had lost. It was standing in the middle of the streets and seemed to be searching for the girl. The unkown turned toward Adrien but he was nowhere to be seen. The roof protected him from the rain and hid him from sight. The unknown went back to searching for the girl. Timidly, he held out his hand and his hand began to appear in the midst of the rain. It was then Adrien realized, he too was invisible. Suddenly, there was a sound amongst the raindrops. Two pairs of eyes sought out its source.

Adrien began running. He had to save her. Why was he there? why was he invisible? He had to find the answers.... he had to find the girl.

And so began the tale of two. a tale only forseen through the rain.

[End of Narration]

Adrien lost track of the girl. He thought it was Marinette. " Dude, please stop interrupting my sleep." Plagg groaned at Adrien. " No time to sleep Plagg." Adrien replied.

[Transformation Sequence]

" Plagg, Claws out!" He said as he turns into Chat Noir.

He began walking through the garden of roses and gets pricked. He got out of it and continued walking through the night, " Where are you Ladybug?". A bush rustled and Adrien heard it. He approached the bush, which appeared to have been rustling because of the rain. The bush however, led him to the cemetary which was mentioned in the news. He went inside, carefully walking throught the cemetary to respect the dead people, especially for Ladybug.

He slowly saw the gave of which belonged to Ladybug. He mourned and sobbed. " Whats the matter Adrien?" A familiar voice asked. " W-Who?" Chat looked back, revealing the silhouette covered in rain. " Who are you?" He asked with a frown. " You don't recognize me Adrien?" She asks. " Umm... yeah." Adrien responded. The silhouette didn't reply, she just stared at Chat. He then went through flashbacks.

" Wait... Y-your." He paused, " Marinette?!". " Yes I am." She replied with glee and hugged him tightly. " I thought you disappeared." Chat asked in relief. " I did... under the rain." Marinette answered. " How did you know I was Adrien?" Another question was brought up by Chat. " I was invisible, and I saw you transform... duh." Marinette rolled her eyes with a smile.

" I'm just happy your alive," Chat said, " Unlike someone over here.". Marinette laughed, " Look at me.".

[Transformation Sequence]

" Tikki, spots on!" She yelled as she transforms into Ladybug.

" No way..." Adrien was shocked. " Yep... I am Ladybug." Marinette sat down beside him, " I saw how you acted around me as Ladybug.". " Yeah.... I might have flirted with you just a bit..." Adrien blushed. " I flirted with you too, you just never notice it." Marinette touched Adrien's nose. " Was it the times you were stuttering around me?" Adrien asked with a smirk. " Yeah..." Marinette blushed. Adrien pulled her up and walked happily. Then the beast that was chasing her appeared out of nowhere and separated Ladybug and Chat Noir. " Meet me at a church!" She said loudly but the unkown didn't hear her due to it lacking any ears.

Adrien nodded and left in different directions.

Adrien didn't see the beast following him anymore, it probably went the other way for Marinette. " Plagg, claws off." He says as he turns back into Adrien.
Plagg burst out through the ring and was shocked, " She was your partner?!". " I guess so..." Adrien sighed in relief. " Come on, we have to find Marinette." He said as he went the way he was orignally gonna go, making a splash along the way.
