Scarlet laughs, snapping me out of my daze. I look at her, wondering why she is laughing. Between laughs she says, "The waffle iron... It's smoking!" I quickly look over at the silver waffle iron and the smell of burnt batter just dances over to my nose. I quickly open the waffle iron and stab the charred mess of what is supposed to be a waffle with a fork, getting it stuck on the silverware. I run to the trash can and step on the lever, opening the trash. I dump the charred waffle into the trash and close the lid. I sigh and pour more batter into the waffle iron. I keep my eye on the waffle iron this time, watching the red light, waiting for it to turn green. After several moments, the red LED light turns green. I open the waffle iron to see a golden, crispy waffle cooked to perfection. I put the golden waffle onto a glass plate edged with an intricate golden lace like design. I make a few more waffles and then put half of them onto an identical plate for Scarlet. I butter the waffles up for her then douche them with maple syrup. I smile at the three perfectly golden waffles as I turn to face the island where Scarlet is sitting. I place the plate in front of the Asian blonde who gives me a rewarding smile at the crispy golden waffles. I go to butter my own waffles with perception and eat them without syrup in a taco style. Syrup us to messy and sticky for my taste. I cringe at the thought of getting syrup on me. Ew. I giggle at the warmness as it fills my stomach. I grab my cup from the dishwasher and clean the cup myself, too stubborn to wait for the load or get another cup to use. I dry the cup with a blue rag. I grab the handle of my black refrigerator and open the door, revealing a gallon of milk, a carton of orange juice, and several bottles of water, as well as fruits and a variety of edible items. I grab the orange juice and close the refrigerator. I go to my cup on the island and shake the carton. From the sound of it, I need to get some orange juice today. I look at the red clock on the border above the island. 6:30. Almost time for my sister's bus to be here. I look at a Scarlet who is now on the couch in the living room watching a Gravity Falls rerun. I pour the orange juice into my glass cup, emptying the carton. I sigh as I throw the carton into the trash. I look back at Scarlet in the living room. "Hey Scarlet, make sure you are ready for school. It is Wednesday not Saturday." I say to her from the kitchen island. She gets up quickly to get her stuff together and I watch her, drinking my juice while she hurries to get her books and things in her galaxy two strap Jansports bag. I see the bus round the corner behind our house, flashing a yellow seen from the window in the back door. "Scar, the bus is almost here." I say loud enough for her to hear me. I see her scramble to get her mint green Vans on. She slaps a galaxy patterned strap over her shoulder and runs out the door right as I hear the bus driver push on the breaks. I finish drinking my juice. I'm glad I finished school. I don't have to deal with the morning school rush anymore. I smirk. Being 18 really does have its perks. Expecially if your eighteen and have a fake ID saying your 21. I giggle softly with my middle three fingers brushing my lips softly. I'm so unfair to others. That thought makes me keep my smile. I think I deserve some Starbucks while I am out getting juice. I say in my head. I put my glass in the sink as I am too lazy right now to put it in the dishwasher. I go to my room for my purse that has my money in it. I walk to my door and as soon as I open it, I am immediately  greated by something flying off of my bed and flinging itself at me. "Woah?!" I yell and fall on my bottom. Naomi looks up at me from my lap and purrs, mewling softly. I smile and pick her up and nuzzle my nose against her. "Awe, are you hungry Naomi?" She sneezes in my face and in her cute little girl voice says, "No, I'm fine, thank you for the offer though. I dine on the sweet dreams of my human." She giggles a bit in her little cat way and I smile at her politeness. I get up with her in my arms. "Oh, I need to go out for a while to get some things, want to come with me or stay here?" I ask her, hoping she wanted to go with me. Her ears and tail immediately perk up. "Ooh! Can we merge? Would you like being in public merged?" She asks quickly. I nod over enthusiastically. "Of course! I love to merge with you!" I hug her to my chest to hug her, but she ends up blowing and merging with me.
