Danielle's POV

I pushed open the door and walked out of the public bathroom in the gas station. I sighed at the memories of today's events. I left the beach party with the success of killing the rogue vampires who had been stealing girls from parties an draining there blood. It was all to easy I got it done in two days. My phone rang as I paid for a snickers bar at the counter. Ignoring the lustful eyes of the cashier man. I answered it.

"Hello?" I said with no emotion.

"Danielle what is your report in the mission?" The familiar rough voice asked. I rolled my eyes, grabbing my snickers bar and walking out of the gas station to my black Porsche.

"It's been taken care of Chief." I said annoyed. He could sense this obviously by how he sighed an since he's only been with me my whole life. The chief of the organization is my guardian. He raised me since I was only ten years old when my parents died.

"What's the problem Dani?" He asked a tone of discomfort in his voice.

"I asked for a harder job an you give me rogue tool bags that didn't last even a week! That's the problem uncle Charles!!!" I yelled through the phone as I strapped in my seat belt and started my engine. I call him uncle Charles because he is basically family. He was my dads best friend.

"Dani I know you want better jobs but I can't give you it right now." He said calmly an in a sweet voice. I scuffed at his gentleness.

"Oh really? An whys that?" I asked sarcastically. Rolling my eyes as I began to drive putting the call on Bluetooth an following my gps. He stayed silent. "Well..." I said clearly annoyed.

"Well because there have been some recent concerns from the organization command board. They think you should take a vacation from long term jobs.. Just for a little while." Uncle Charles words came out like a whisper but I heard it. I stayed silent for a minute letting his words sink in.

"WHAT!!! WHY??!!" I yelled annoyed my knuckles turning white from how hard I was gripping the steering wheel.

"YOUNG LADY DO NOT YELL AT ME LIKE THAT!" He said through the phone an my whole car vibrated with his rage. I relaxed and calmed down taking a lot of long breaths. "We all know you're very skillful an you get all the dangerous jobs done but you leave behind a big mess and it's becoming costly. Your last mission not only got a whole building to collapse but you almost got the supernatural world exposed. The board has put you on probation..." I sighed at his last words. Probation wasn't a good thing at all if I messed up one more time I screwed. Let's just say HUNTERS don't get a chance to become rogues. I frowned.

"So what now?" I asked Charles. He took in a long breath and released it.

"I figured you would hate the small missions so I got you a long term mission instead." I smiled an let out a loose laugh. "Don't thank me yet because there is a catch." I paused and my face turned serious. "Your GPS is being reset to the address you'll be staying at an there your assignment along with your new partner will be waiting." My throat tightened at the word partner. "It was the only way you could get a long term mission Dani... Report back to me when you have a arrived." He said an the call dropped. I looked at the address on the GPS.

Winderson Nevada.

I sighed. The only thoughts going through my mind was mission and partner. This was going to be difficult as hell.
