Chapter 3

Danielle's POV

*BEEP* *BEEP* *BEEP*

My head was beginning to throb at the piercing sound next to my ear. I moved my arm towards the sound an slapped the top of the machine blinking my eyes open in the process. The light was shining through my window. I sighed at the thought of not being able to go back to sleep. Then the thought occurred maybe 'chief was right maybe I do need a vacation?' Then I shook that thought away knowing I would miss the hunting life to much. I pushed the covers off of me an sat up. I stretched my arms out an began to walk to the bathroom with my small travel bag. It was literally the size of a small purse an it held my soap that smelled like coconuts an the ocean. Then it had my tooth brush and tooth paste. Deodorant and hair brush and shampoo and conditioner that also smelled like my soap. Anyways I grabbed this an walked to the bathroom just to be stopped by the locked door. I frustratedly sighed.

"Gabi open up I need to use the bathroom!!" I yelled over her radio in the bathroom. Aggravated I began to bang on the door. I finally here the water stop an relax as the lock clicks an gabi comes walking out wrapped in a towel. "It's about time!" I said as I walked into the bathroom.

"Woah good morning to you to sis!" She yelled as I slammed the door. I heard her laugh as she walked away. I relax as I began to get ready. I get out of the bathroom wrapped in a towel an head straight to my room. I put my undergarments on consisting of a sports bra and thong. I then put a long sleeve Forrest green shirt on with dark jeans and black boots. I stick two silver daggers in my boots. I put a small gun in the back of my pants an made sure my shirt is covering it making sure it's basically invisible. I let my long damp hair stick to my body and walked out of my room just to bump into Gabi. I looked her up an down. Her long blonde hair was straightened as she wore a red shirt sleeve v-neck, with black jeans, and black boots. I chuckled a bit when I looked at her face covering her crystal blue eyes were black specs. She noticed my laugh an frowned.

"What?" She said nervous and annoyed.

"Since when do you wear glasses?" I said as we began to walk down stairs. I heard her sigh.

"People think I'm dumb because I'm blonde and although that would be a good cover the dumb blonde girl, it's just not me so instead I'm the quiet nerdy blonde." She said an I nodded as I looked at the door an noticed two book bags. I turned to look at her as to ask what they were. "Our school bags." She said grabbing the beige one an I grabbed the black one.

"Alright well let's go." I said grabbing my car keys. She grabbed her keys an locked up the house behind me. I walked to my car an started the engine. A few seconds later Gabi got in an I looked at her curiously. "You're not taking your own car?" I asked an she smiled while clicking her seat belt.

"Uh no your car is far more bad ass then mine!" I chuckled and reversed out of the house. We past a bunch of teens walking with there friends. Most of them pointed an stared at my car. I smiled knowing that it's awesome an gabi made an amazing point. I pulled up to the school that was only four blocks away from our house and parked in the front row. I got out of my car gracefully an smirked at all the gaping wolves around me. 'Let the games begin' my mind thought

"Gabi lets go." I said an locked my door as gabi followed me walking through all the people beginning to crowd around us an my car. A little annoyed i opened the door of the school an almost choked on the amount of power around me. The whole school was filled with the smell and the power aura of a wolf. I just stood strong an walked right to the front office. The old lady behind the counter looked up an gave gabi and I a warm smile.

"May I help you young ladies?" She asked and gabi was the one to speak.

"We are Gabrielle and Danielle Dawson and we are new." Gabi said proudly an I just rolled my eyes knowing she just loves saying our last name.
