I grabbed a green apple and a water bottle, I stood right in the middle of the cafeteria trying to find Natalie. I looked around until I finally see her seating in a blue table with two other girls. I walked to them and sat down.

"Hey Natalie" I said with a big smile on my face.

" hey Amelia, these are my friends Mia and Celeste."

" hey I'm Amelia" I said politely.

" I'm Mia"

" and I'm Celeste"

Mia had brown hair, she had an olive skin, and she was wearing some black jeans, a white shirt and a black blazer. Celeste by the other hand had blonde hair and light skin,She was wearing white jeans, a red top, and white heels. I could see that they were very different but I liked it.

" why are you so happy?" Asked Natalie confused and smiling.

" well don't get mad, but Luke asked me to be his science partner for a project"

I could see on her face that she wasn't happy, I turned to Mia and Celeste and they didn't make a gesture and I could see that they weren't surprised. I was confused and couldn't help myself to ask.

" why those faces?"

" because Luke does that, he asks you to be his partner and then leaves you doing all the work." Answered Celeste.

" and because I told you to back off and you do this" said Natalie.

" why are you being so rude? I know you are trying to warn me but you don't have to react like that"

" how am I supposed to react when who was supposed to be my friend acts like a bitch" she said that and covered her mouth in regret. " I'm sorry I didn't mean to say that" she said putting her hand on my shoulder.

" but you did, and now I know what you think about me" I pushed her hand off me and ran out.

I was sitting on my desk, doing my best not to drop a tear in the middle of math class. I turned my head looking around, when I see Luke flirting with Nicole. I had mixed feelings again. Maybe he was just talking to her, or maybe Natalie was right. I know he can flirt with anyone he wants, is not like if we were dating, but it still hurts.

After class I ran out as discreet as I could, but Luke followed me and stopped me holding my shoulder.

" hey you want to work on the project now?" He asked.

I saw Nicole giving me a look, so I just kept walking and thanks god Luke didn't follow me. I didn't want to explain him that I was crazy for him but everybody tells me to back off while who i think is his girlfriend gives me looks and I'm about to freak out.

I was sitting in the cafeteria doing homework, I could go to my dorm, but I didn't want to risk finding Luke there. Then Nicole approached to me.

" hey, Amelia right?"

" right" I said trying not to look annoyed.

" listen I saw you and Luke talking several times, and I just wanted to tell you that me and him are something, but I hope we can still be friends though you look like a nice girl"

I didn't know what to say because people have being telling me to get as far from her as possible, so I just agreed.

" sure"

" great" she said while hugging me.

That hug was the coldest hug I have ever had. But why was she being so nice to me after she gave me the look?
