I finish reading the last few sentences to a chapter in a book we're reading in English.

"Can I sit now?"
"Yes, Yano you may sit." The teacher shows a small smile and waves for me to sit. I hear the girls whisper amongst themselves. On my way to sit I meet big brown eyes as I settle in my seat and turn around to listen to the teacher.

The rest of the time was allowed to ourselves. My teacher probably went to the teachers lounge to keep up to date with any new gossip. As soon as she headed out the door the classroom filled with sounds and paper planes. Clattering chairs and desks marked the floors and new drawings filled the white bored. Some well drawn and some not so much. Girls made there usual little groups and boys either slept or talked about what they were going to do after school. Me? I just sat there staring out the window thinking about nothing in particular when I remember the big brown eyes. I turn slightly and find them staring at me. Big brown eyes that looked like mine. When the bell rings it caught me off guard and I jump at the sound. The girl that was starring was silently giggling at me to her self. She reached for the bag and headed for the door. I followed her with my eyes not daring to try and make conversation.

I gather my things and also head out the door. I wait about 1 minute after every one leaves.
