Chapter 5: Worried

No One's POV:

Gemma walked out of the club house with two cold beers. She saw Jax, Clay and Elliot Oswald walk out of the garage office. Gemma waited until Elliot Oswald left then she walked over to her husband and son. "What did Oswald want?" Gemma asked while handing Jax and Clay a beer. "A favor, they found Tristen she was raped." Clay said as he took a drink of his beer. "Are you going to find the sick bastard?" Gemma asked. "You know it." Clay smiled then he gave his wife a kiss. Bobby and Lennon pulled up beside them, in the Tow Truck. "We got muffins!" Lennon said excited as she jumped out of the Tow Truck. "If you get the chance today, stop by the hospital and talk to Karen. We need to know if Tristen starts to remember anything." Clay said to Gemma. "I'll stop by the hospital later today." Gemma said. "Thanks baby." Clay smiled. "Hey Lennon, can you pass me one of those muffins?" Clay asked.

Lennon's POV:

"Lennon, can you pass me one of those muffins?" Dad asked, I tossed him a blueberry muffin. "I want you to stay with Ma today, instead of going around town by yourself or with your friends." Jax said. "Why, wait are you worried because of what happened to Tristen?" I asked. "You know about that?" Jax asked surprised. "Yeah, everyone does." I said, Charming is a small town, everyone here likes to gossip. "I'm not worried, just concerned. Please just don't go anywhere without Ma." Jax said, I could tell he was worried. "Just for today?" I asked. "Just for today." Jax said. "Okay I won't go anywhere without Ma, just for today." I said to make Jax happy. "Thanks." Jax smiled. "Jax, we gotta go." Dad said. "I'll see you later." Jax said. "Bye kiddo." Dad said. "Bye." I said as they got on their bikes, then they left.

Around one in the afternoon Ma and I went to hospital she said she had to visit an old friend. "Wait in the lobby, I'll be back soon." Ma said then she went upstairs. I sat down in one of the chairs then I started texting Lacey. "Whats up?" Lacey asked. "I'm waiting for Ma, she's at the hospital visiting a friend." I replied then I got a text from Ma. "I think we are going to be here a while, why don't you go to the cafeteria and get some lunch." Ma said. "Ugh this is going to take forever." I texted Lacey. "Phoebe and I are going to the mall, you should come with us." Lacey said. Phoebe is Lacey's 17 year old sister. "I can't, Jax told me to stay with Ma today, because of what happened to Tristen." I said. "Come anyway if she is going to busy for awhile she won't even notice you are gone. We are on our way to pick you up." Lacey said. "I don't know, Jax seemed worried earlier, maybe I should just stay here." I said. "Okay but who knows how long you will be there, it could be hours." Lacey said. Lacey knew I was too impatient to sit in the lobby for hours with nothing to do. "Fine but I have to back in 2 hours." I said. "Yay! We will there in 5 minutes." Lacey said. 

The time went by so fast, Lacey and I were singing along to the radio when Phoebe pulled up to my house. "Here you are." Phoebe said. "We need to drop her off at hospital where we picked her up, before anyone notices she is gone." Lacey said. "Sorry, I forgot." Phoebe said, she started to back out of the driveway when the front door opened. "Who's that?" Lacey asked. Phoebe stopped the car so we could see who it was. Jax stepped out of the house, he looked pissed. "Shit, it's Jax." I said then I got out of the car. I walked into the house, Jax closed the door behind me. "Where were you?" Jax asked in a calm but strict tone. "The mall with Lacey and Phoebe." I said. "Why didn't you stay with Ma, like I told you to?" Jax asked. "I was bored and Ma said she was going to be there a while." I said. "I told you to stay with Ma because there is a pervert on the loose. But you went to the mall instead because you were bored?!" Jax yelled. "Uh-yes." I said.

"Are you out of your god damn mind?! Do you know what could of happened to you? You scared the hell out of us, no one knew where you were!" Jax yelled. "Nothing happened to me, though." I said. "There is a god damn rapist running around Charming, if I tell you to stay put, you listen to me!" Jax yelled. "Okay, I'm sorry for scaring you." I said. Jax took a deep breath, calming himself down. "You crossed the line today, I'm taking you off of the soccer team for the rest of the season." Jax said. "Jax, that's not fair." I said. "I don't care if you think it's fair! I had no idea if you hurt today, that's unfair to me!" Jax yelled. "But Jax, we are only 2 games into the season." I said. "My decision is final, I don't want to argue anymore, please just go to your room." Jax said in a calmer voice.

I rolled my eyes then I stormed off to my room, I slammed the door. I put my ear buds in then I listened to my music. An hour later I came out of my room to get a snack, as I walked into the Jax I saw Jax. He was sitting at the table smoking a cigarette, he put it out when he saw me. "Can we talk?" Jax asked softly. "Sure." I said as I sat down beside him. "I know things got a little, loud, earlier. I'm sorry if I was too hard on you, I was just worried to death." Jax said. "Thanks and I'm sorry for running off." I said. "Thanks, so are we good?" Jax asked. "Ya we're good." I said, Jax smiled. "Are you really going to make me quit the soccer team?" I asked, Jax paused for a moment. "I won't make you quit you the team, I know how much soccer means to you." Jax said. "Thanks." I said as I engulfed Jax into a hug. "Also for the next 3 days you can help Ma with paper work at the office." Jax said, I should of known he wouldn't let me completely off the hook. "Okay." I said.
