Author's Note: A little background for this chapter: Opie and Donna are married, they do not have any children. There relationship has been on the rocks for the past year, Opie got out of prison a few months before the story started. Jax and Opie have been best friends since birth but they haven't talked much since Opie went to prison. I have changed Chelsea name to Lacey. I have also changed the actress who plays Lacey.

2 Weeks Later:

Gemma and Lennon walked into the Teller-Morrow Garage, where Jax was. Jax was under the hood of a car working on the engine when he heard foot steps. Jax looked up to see Lennon walking into the garage. "Where's Ma?" Jax asked. "She's just getting the cake from the car." Lennon said then Gemma walked into her office and set the cake down on the desk. Gemma came out of her office and into the garage. "We bought decorations for the house warming party, the prospect helped us put them up. We also picked up a cake from Pippa's bakery." Gemma said. "Thanks for getting the cake and setting the house up for tonight." Jax said. "No problem, hey Lennon can you take the cake and put it in the fridge inside the club house?" Gemma asked. "Sure." Lennon said then got the cake and took it into the club house.

"So I haven't seen or talked to you in the last 2 weeks since Tara left. How have you been?" Gemma asked. "I'm fine, it doesn't bother me that she left." Jax said. "Are you sure because I know how you felt about her-" Gemma said when Jax cut her off. "Yes it wouldn't of worked anyway, she couldn't handle my baggage. Also her baggage was putting the club at risk. Things will be better now for the both of us since she went Baltimore." Jax said. "I know that I said some stuff that I shouldn't have about you and Tara. I want to apologize, I don't want anything to strain our relationship." Gemma said. "I know and I'm sorry too." Jax said, Gemma smiled. "I've got to go run a few more errands but Clay and I will be there at 7." Gemma said. "Bye." Jax said then Gemma left.

Jax went back to working on the car when heard the roar of a familiar one. Jax looked up to see Donna speeding into the parking lot in Opie's truck. Donna got out of the truck and slammed the door. As Donna headed for the clubhouse, Opie came outside. Donna started to yell at Opie. "I've had it with your lies, you need to choose it's me or the club!" Donna yelled at Opie. "Calm down and we can talk about this at home." Opie said. "I don't want to calm down, I want an answer!" Donna yelled. "Don't make me choose." Opie said. "Don't bother coming home, were done." Donna said angrily then she got in the truck and drove off.

Once Donna had left Jax walked over to Opie. "Hey I overheard and I am here if you want to talk. Also if you need a place to crash your always welcome at my house." Jax said. "Thanks and you don't have to offer me your couch, I'll crash at the clubhouse." Opie said. "I know we haven't talked in a while but we're family and my offer stands if you change your mind. Also it wouldn't be the couch, I have a spare room that we never use." Jax said. "I'll think about it." Opie said then he started to walk towards the club house when Jax spoke. "Gemma's throwing Lennon and I a house warming party since we got the house fixed up, you should come." Jax said, Opie smiled. "Sure, what time?" Opie asked. "Seven." Jax said then he went back to the garage.
