Cassandra's Point of View;
My luck is really bad.
Well first off, Nakita ko nanaman 'tong si Alexander. Second, our parents are teasing us about going to the mall by ourselves. Tito Bong even called it a date.
And now this bastard infront of me is squeezing my hand, a jolt of electricity travelling from his hand to mine.
Teka nga lang. Did I just say na may spark? Omg.
No, I know I'm just kidding. My palms are naturally sweaty eh. Or sa tagalog, pasmado. Kaya siguro may parang spark.
"Mauna na kami ni Sandro." Tito Bong and Alexander stood up after he paid the bill. "May interview pa ako mamayang 7pm. Ingat kayo."
"Bye, panget." Alexander stucked his tongue out at me. "This sounds immature but, Panget ka forever."
"Walang forever." I retorted, "Kung panget ako mas panget ka. Blehh."
Pero honestly, gwapo ni Alexander ngayon.
It wad kinda funny. Because we sound like two five-year olds annoying each other. Pero okay lang, it's entertaining the two of us.
"Heh. I'm outta here. Baka marinig pa tayo nila Tita."
He was about to leave the restaurant and gave me one last glance, I glared at him and raised my fist. He smiled and shooked his head at me, then left the restaurant. His Dad following him.

*3 days later*
"Cass! Gising na. Hinihintay ka na ni... sa labas!"
Sino daw?
Mom naman eh. It's only 7:30 am. I was up all night re-watching Scream Queens Season one. Blame Chanel #1. Hahaha.
"I'm awake!" I shouted for Mom to hear. "GOOD MORNING WORLD!"
My bedroom door opened which startled me. And believe it or not, may OWL NA PANDAK na sumilip.
"What are you doing here?" I glared at Alexander while folding my blanket. "I was expecting for Simon to pick me up. Not you!"
"Good Morning Cass!" He said sarcastically then rolled his eyes. "May breakfast ka na dun sa baba. Binilhan na kita."
"Thank you, how nice of you." I replied. Sarcastically din siyempre. I know na inutusan lang 'yan ni Simon. Si Alexander pa, nothing's gentlemanly in him.
He closed the door without a word and I'm left inside again. I threw my hair into a messy bun and headed downstairs.
Like he said, may breakfast nga sa table. Blueberry Pancakes. My favorite. How thoughtful of Simon.
"Simon told you to buy this, no?" I asked Alexander while putting some on my plate.
"Hindi," He retorted. "Ako ang pumili nan. I know that you love Blueberry Pancakes."
"Really? Mabait ka ata ngayon, Alexander." I smiled at him.
"I am always kind to people." He replied. "Except you."
Grabee!! Ang hard talaga.
"Whatever. Sama mo talaga."
"Sayo lang." Alexander retorted. "Now, bilisan mo. Simon and Vincent is waiting for you na."
I took a bath after eating breakfast and dressed up. Mom already left for work while I was taking a bath, well, that's what Alexander said.
"Let's go." Alexander opened his car door and hopped in. Sumunod naman ako at umupo sa passenger's seat.
-----
"Bakit pinasundo nyo pa ako sa mokong na 'yun ha?" I laughed at Simon and Vincent as I rolled the dice. We were playing a round of Monopoly. "He kept on teasing me while we are on our way here."
"Sorry ate Cass. But he insisted and we have nothing to do. He's the only one who has a car, and a liscense." Vincent reasoned out. "Just look on the bright side, he bought you breakfast pa oh. How thoughtful of Kuya Sands."
"Tse! Hindi gagawin ni Alexander yun. May sanib ata siya ngayon." I joked. The boys laughed and Simon gave me a chance card. "You have been elected chairman of the board. Give each player 50- What?!"
So ayun nanaman. The boys teased me and kept asking for a 50 bill. Bankrupt na nga naging chairman of the board pa. Bad luck is still beside me.
After how many rounds of Monopoly, and numerous games of Super Smash Brothers at Vincent's Wii, we decided to eat snacks first and take a rest.
"Ate Cass, I think you have to go home na. It's already 6pm. Baka umuwi na si Tita." Simon reminded, concern evident in his voice. "I'll let kuya Sands drive you home. Kuya!"
"What?" Alexander went out of his room. "I have a headache. I can't drive her home. Just call a cab when you get out."
"Ah. Okay." I smiled at the three of them. "I'll commute nalang. See you tomorrow ulit guys."
"Bye ate Cass! Ingat!" Simon and Vincent said, while Sandro just stood near his doorstep. Wearing his signature poker face.
"Huy panget! Bye!" I smiled half-heartedly and waved at Alexander. He just stuck out his tongue at me in response and went back inside his room.

I'm already waiting for a cab like, half an hour na. Ang tagal!! Should I start walking home or wait?
Hmm. Okay. I'll try to wait for a cab for ten minutes. 'Pag walang dumating maglalakad na talaga ako pauwi.
So for the next ten minutes, I stood at the gate of the Marcos' subdivision. Wala paring dumating so I started walking na.
But bad luck didn't got contented. Umulan pa ng malakas! I left my umbrella at home amd I don't have any hat or bag or anything to cover me. Wala ring masisilungan dito.
I just stood here on the street. In the rain, in the cold. The rain soaking my hair, my shirt, my clothes, everything! My mascara is already going down to my face until it reaches my neck. Wala na talaga akong nagawa, I'm trapped here. Wala pang tao or sasakyan na dumadaan.
Napaiyak nalang talaga ako. Sorry, iyakin kasi ako. And I have nothing to do! Wait, try kong itext si Simon.
I pulled my phone out of my pocket and started to text Simon. Pero anong nangyari? It turned off. Nalowbat ako. I can't believe it. Sunod-sunod ang kamalasan. Lord, please help me.
