[6]: Feelings

Cassandra's Point of View;

I woke up feeling a lot better than last night. Thanks to Alexander.

I was about to sit up when I felt Alexander scoot closer to me, wrapping his arms around my waist and resting his chin on my temple, hugging me from behind. Grabe!! Bakit ako kinikilig? Is he awake already?

"Bati na tayo, please." Alexander mumbled. I didn't moved a muscle. Hindi ko alam ang gagawin ko, I don't even know if he's awake or not eh.

I tried to reach for my phone which was on Alexander's night stand, so that I could check the time. 7:30 am. Still early.

"Sandro?"

Wow ah. Sandro. This is my first time calling him by his nickname. I'm used to call him by his second name, Alexander. Kasi magkaaway nga kami diba, and he doesn't want people calling him Alexander, masyado daw formal.

"Mmm? Ten minutes, manang." He mumbled again. MANANG?! Pang-manang ba ang boses kong maganda?

"Where's Cass? Is she okay?" He mumbled groggily. Infairness, my heart swelled at his thoughtfulness. Ano ba 'to? Gising na?

I carefully turned to face him, and guess what, lalo lang akong niyakap. Jusko Lord.

In Alexander's arms, I feel comfortable. Parang may malaking blanket na nagpoprotect sakin. Kaya I felt sleepy ulit so I started to close my eyes.

"AY, ANAK NG CASSAVA CAKE!" Alexander jumped off the bed, immediately.

"AH! OWL NA PANDAK!" I was so suprised, I rolled over to the other side of the bed. Alexander on the other hand, is now standing near his night stand, wide awake.

"Yuck, kadiri." I fake-complained then glared at him. "Ikaw nangyakap! 'Wag kang feeler, Alexander."

"I'm taking a bath. Disgusting." Alexander shot daggers at me and got cothes inside his closet. Arte nito, dinaig pa ako.

Simon walked in the room while I was fixing Alexander's bed. He laughed when he saw me.

"You guys finish cuddling?" He laughed, then clutched his stomach. "I was spying at the two of you the whole time."

"We're not cuddling!" I retorted, then I felt blood rising up to my cheeks.

"Then why are you blushing?" Simon raised an eyebrow at me. I covered my face.

"I am not!" I told Simon.

"Whatever, Ate Cass." Simon rolled his eyes at me. "Are you feeling better now?"

"Yeah, I'm feeling fine." I smiled at Simon. "Pero sana, lagi nalang akong may sakit."

"What?"

"Ah. W-wala. I'm asking if there's already breakfast downstairs." Palusot ko.

"Of course," Simon replied. "That's why I went here. To call you guys for breakfast."

"Okay, Iwanan na natin 'yang kuya mo. Let's go!" I stood up from the bed and went out to follow Simon.

"Oo. Okay lang, sanay na ako. Sanay na akong iniiwan." Alexander walked out of the bathroom and followed us downstairs, wearing a plain light blue v-neck shirt and black shorts.

"Panget mo parin." I looked at him and stuck out my tongue.

"Good Morning Cass." He replied sarcastically. "Simon, Good Morning."

"What? I'm not doing anything!" Simon retorted. "Hey, Vincent! You're awake na pala."

The four of us ate breakfast together. Tito Bong and Tita Louise are not here, so is Mama Meldy. According to Manang, the left early because of meetings and gatherings with some politicians.

"Ate Cass, I know walang kwenta 'tong question ko. But, who's the most handsome?" Vincent asked, then pointed himself, Simon and Alexander.

"Hmm," I paused. "You're all handsome naman eh. Ang may pinaka malakas na dating talaga, si Alexander."

He just shook off my compliment like a pro.

"Heh, maliit na bagay." Alexander said, putting more bacon on his plate.

"Yabang naman." I retorted. "Si Vincent and Simon lang pala ang gwapo."

"I'm kidding, alright." Alexander shot daggers at me again. "Pikon ka kasi."

"Bahala ka nga dyan." I stood up and placed my plate on the sink. "I'll just get my clothes off the dryer."

Hindi ako maka-get over dun kanina. Kinikilig na talaga ako. Oh my Lord. Crush ko na ata si Alexander. I wish I would always get stuck in the cold, then Alexander will always see me, then take care of me.

"What's taking you so long?"

"Huy, earth to Cassandra."

"Cassie!!"

That's when I snapped out of my thoughts. Alexander is infront of me pala, pinching my cheeks and shaking my head a bit.

"Change your clothes na. So that I can drive you home. Your Mom might be looking for you." Alexander said monotonously and went upstairs.

After getting dressed, I went to Alexander's room. I gave him his clothes and got my phone on his nightstand.

"Okay ka na?" Alexander asked. I nodded, hindi ako makapag-salita. Kinikilig parin ako.

I said my goodbyes to Simon and Vincent, also thanking them because they brought me food and medicine last night.

"Balik ka dito, Ate Cass." Vincent said. "Me and kuya Simon might be leaving for London after Mama Meldy's birthday.

"Sure. Aww, I'll miss you guys." I gave them a hug.

*Beep* *Beep*

"Ayun na yung boyfriend mo, ate Cass." Vincent gave me a grin and I playfully stuck my tongue at him. "Bye!"

"Oh, panget. Baba." Alexander commanded as he pulled the handbrake. "Tell Tita Beth I said hi."

"Okay. Thank you, Sandro." I grinned at him.

"Now you're calling me Sandro." He laughed. "Oo na. Bye, take care always."

"Ikaw din." I said as I closed the car door.
I watched as he drove away from our house, until his car was out of sight. Then I went inside the house.

"I'M HOME!" I shouted at the top of my lungs as I entered. No response.

I pulled phone out of my pocket and went to my room. Maybe I should ask Mom what time is she gonna come home.

But as I opened my phone, Hala, wait. Bakit naging shield ni Captain America ang wallpaper ko?

I swiped to unlock my phone and surprisingly, It doesn't have a passcode. Wait, akin ba talaga 'to?

I tried finding Mom's contact number in the contacts. Instead of finding 'Mother Dear', 'Tita Elizabeth' ang nakita ko.

This is Sandro's phone. Jusko lord.
