#GetWellSoonWonwoo

"So you saw a dark creature in your dream and was going for Wonho?", Valerie stated, after I explained the dream that day.
I nodded in eager.
"Umm... maybe you're just tired. Or maybe you're stressed."
I left a sigh as my hand ruffled my hair. I clearly remembered until the smallest detail from the dream.
And I was sure it wasn't just a dream.
"Have you tried the testpack?" she said, almost out loud, but loud enough to be heard by a costumer.
"Valerie!" I hit her upper arm and whispered, "Don't be so loud!"
Valerie did an apologetical face, "Sorry... but have you?"
I chewed my lips as I kept my head low and slightly shook my head.
"Wonwoo's been so busy these days. Even if the result's positive, I'm just not ready to tell him yet."
Valerie sighed, which made me feel bad somehow. I rummaged my bag to look for my phone, but instead I found something else.
"I bought the test pack with me though."
To use or not to use?
~~~
Meanwhile...
"Six months and counting to the seventh years."
Wonwoo let out a deep sigh as his thumb rubbed around his cup of blood ㅡ sort of 'coffee treat' but vampires use blood.
"Have you made your decision?"
Feeling burdensome, Wonwoo bit the inside part of his cheek.
"Can't it just be me?" he spat, "I mean, he's just a kid, he still has so many things to do."
"You know the rules, Wonwoo."
Silence fell between them. This was what Wonwoo afraid of the most. He knew that someday, Aggie would know this as well. He couldn't hide it from her forever.
"I tell you what." Charles shrugged, "Just give some time apart from your wife."
"W-what?!" Wonwoo jumped from his seat, "No, Charles it'd make it harder for her."
"Do you want to pass this quickly?"
Wonwoo nervously gulped his saliva. The choice was completely in Wonwoo's hand.
Charles broke the silence by clasping his hands, "Anyway... just wanna let you know that we're going to China for 6 months."
"6 months?" Wonwoo echoed, almost jumped off of his seat, "Don't you think that's too long?"
"I know, right. But what to do."
~~~
I nervously chewed my lips as my hand became sweaty so I had to clenched the fabric of my blouse.
"You know," Valerie spat, "It's not too late to know it."
Hearing her thought, I became more nervous. I didn't know what Wonwoo would say about this, or how Wonwoo would react.
"I'm doing it!"
I bravely stepped into the bathroom. Words couldn't describe what I was feeling. Terrible yet excited? Nervous? Who knew.
Oh lord...
With my head bent down low, I went out of the room. Valerie was waiting by the door. She gripped my shoulder eagerly.
"So?"
I lifted my head, revealing my expresionless face. I lifted my hand to show her the used test pack. She jumped in excitement when she saw there were two lines on it; which means positive.
"Oh my God, congratulations Aggie!" she bumped onto me to give a big hug, but it didn't make me relieved.
"I'm still confused. How am I going to tell Wonwoo?" I whispered.
"Just tell him. I'm sure he'll glad to hear it."
"But I'm afraid if it's not the right time. Wonwoo's been busy lately, I don't want to stress him out."
Valerie sighed, then used her fingers to lift my chin up, "No matter how busy he is, I'm sure he'll listen to you."
~~~
I walked back and forth in the living room. It had been about 30 minutes I did this, and Wonho had asked the same question all over again, like 'Mom, are you okay?' or 'Mom, what are you doing?'
I was waiting for Wonwoo to come home. I had gathered all my courage.
I'm going to tell him. This night. Right now. Tommorow won't do.
Not long after, the door clicked open, along with the deep voice of Wonwoo, "I'm home."
Wonho jumped off the sofa and ran to give his dad a hug. The courage I had gathered for all day, it was all scattered when I saw Wonwoo's bright face. I knew he was tired, but he still had a smile in his face. It wasn't forced at all.
"Good evening, m'lady." he wrapped his arm around my waist and landed a kiss around my face.
I lightly pulled his face away, "Ew. Dirty."
"You love it anyway."
I let out a smirk as he went to bathe as usual. Then, we had dinner together. I was waiting for the right timing to say it, but Wonwoo seemed too focused to his food.
"Wonwoo," I called, "Can I say something?"
He lifted his head as he wiped his mouth, "What is it?"
All words I had arranged to say, scattered into pieces and ran out of my head.
"I-... Uhm..."
Nervous, I could only focused on his cheeks filled with food.
My hands automaticly reached for tissue and gently wiped his cheek, "You got a stain on your cheek."
"Oh. Thanks."
Shit I failed.
For the second attempt, I waited until Wonwoo finished bathing and came to the room. He bought a big ass suitcase to the room.
"Aggie?"
"Yes?"
"I know it's sudden, but..." he paused as he rubbed his nape, "I'm going to China for 6 months."
Wait what.
"6 months?" I echoed. He nodded in reply.
"But, don't you think it's too long?"
Wonwoo chuckled, "You sounded like me when I knew it for the first time."
I clasped my lips and tried to hid my disappointment, but he immediately noticed and sat beside me on the bed.
"I know, baby, I'm sorry. But it's my job."
Oh yeah, speaking of the baby...
I was too absorbed to the conversation that I almost forgot I was going to tell him something.
"Oh yeah, what I'm going to say is..."
I paused again. No more doubting, just... confused.
Gladly, he took my hand and squished it tightly, "What is it?"
"I'm pregnant."
