chapter 2

The next morning I wake up to Lafayette making out with his lovely boyfriend Hercules. I clear my throat to signify my presence.
"Oh" Hercules mumbles in between kisses.
"Get a room you two"
"Oh ferme la" Lafayette pulls away from his lover.
"Don't you have class in like ten minutes?" Hercules mentions to me.
I look over at the clock, 10:34am.
"Shit! and neither of you thought to tell me!" I say jumping out of bed and slinging on a sweatshirt.
"We were a bit pre-occupied" Hercules gestures toward Lafayette and winks at him.
"You guys are gross." I grab my bag and my book and I'm about to bolt out the door when Lafayette stops me
"Mon amie, your pants"
I look down and I'm still in my pajama pants.
"Shit."
I run back inside throw on some jeans and start to race to my class.

I finally get to the room, only 2 minutes late. My professor walks in right after I sit down. He makes his way down and begins his lecture on the anatomy of a dolphin. I'm studying to become a marine biologist, so while this may sound dreadful it's actually quite interesting.

After class I get a text from little miss Eliza Schuyler

I figure it's urgent so i make my way to her room as fast as I could. I start to knock on her door but before my hand reaches the door, the door opens and I'm pulled inside.
"What's wrong, why is this so urgent."
"I need help studying"
"Seriously. I came all the way across campus to help you study. Where the heck are Angelica and Peggy?? Why couldn't they help you??"
"Peggy's with her girlfriend..."
"Whoa wait Peggy has a girlfriend?? When did this happen, you need to keep me informed better"
"Relax its not meant to be"
"How do you know"
"Because I asked her if everything was still black and white and she said yes"
"So it's not 'true love' "
"Nope just a 'relationship' "
Eliza is studying the science of color and love, yes that's I thing, I didn't think it was real until she told me. Basically it's finding out why whenever we meet our soul mate our world is just suddenly colorful and why the world is colorless without love. It's a tough subject but she's the smartest of smart.
"Okay fair enough, now where is Angelica?"
"God knows"
"Fair point, alright since I'm already here I'll help you study"
"Thank you sir"

I throw my bag down onto her couch and my book falls out of it, Eliza makes a clear note that she saw it
"No way, you like Hamilton's books??"
"Oh my god yes I love every single one of them."
"Well you're in luck, that Alexander guy is coming to Flourish books on Friday for like some book signings. Peggy was telling me all about it."
"are you serious, you're not serious, man it's my life dream to meet him, he's such an accomplished guy for only being 20. I would love more than anything to meet him."
"Well dreams come true you can on Friday, just text Peggy I'm sure she'll have all the details"
"Don't worry I will, now what were we doing again?"
"Studying?" Eliza hold up the extremely large textbook.
"Right."

After four long hours of studying Eliza eventually gave up
"I'm going to get food and take a nap, thanks for helping me study"
"No problem, thanks for telling me about the book signing"
"You're welcome"
"I'm gonna go."
"Bye bye"
I pick up my things and walk out the door. As I make my way back to my dorm I pull out my phone to text Peggy for the details for the signings

I make it back to the dorm and to no surprise, Lafayette is there, with Hercules.
"God you two never stop do you."
"Nope"
I throw a blanket that was sitting on the bed at them.
"So did you guys know about Peggy's girlfriend?"
"No who is it"
"Now that I think of it I actually don't know" I forgot to ask Eliza what her name was before I left hmp
"Wow" Lafayette plopped himself down on the bed
"Why were you at the Schuyler's for so long ?" Hercules climbs under Lafayette and places Laf's head in his lap.
"Studying"
"I would say and what else but we all know you're gay as fuck so"
"Guilty, anyways you do what you guys do, Ima go read"
"ballot !" I heard Laf and Herc snickers a little
"whatever"
I pick up my bag and my book and make my way to one of the parks on campus just to sit outside and read.
