Records, Burgers, & Love

Carl and I stumble into Spencers. This is probably my second favorite store, Hot Topic being my first.

"Do you want to go into the back?" he says mischievously.

"There is no way I'm going back there," I say.
I look at him like he's crazy. He is really!

"Fine, fine. Oh, you should totally wear this shirt!" Carl says as he runs towards a black Fullmetal Alchemist shirt. "You could wear an old long-sleeved T-shirt underneath with some ripped jeans!"

"Huh, that would be pretty cool! I like that! We can get some ripped jeans at Hollister!" I exclaim. "And you could wear this!" I hold up a Mötley Crüe T-shirt.

"Yeah! That would be perfect," he says as we trade shirts. "Let's go buy these!"

"Okay!" We walk up to the counter, and I see a red-headed boy at the counter. He has tons of freckles! But he has really nice, ice blue eyes.

"Yo, Radcliffe, my man!" Carl says as he reaches over the counter to give the guy a bro-hug.

"Hey, what's up, Carl? Who's that?" Radcliffe says referring to me.

"That's my friend, Catherine," Carl says.

"Wow, she's pretty!" Radcliffe says. I blush and look down at the floor. "It's nice to meet you," he says. He hold out a hand for me to shake, and I gladly accept. His hands are so soft and warm!

"And it's a pleasure to meet you!" I say with a smile.

"Well, we better be off, here's the money," Carl says. He glares at Radcliffe. Jealous much?

"Okay! Well, I'll see you two lovebirds later!" Radcliffe calls after us. I turn around and wave at him.

"How do you know him?" I ask Carl once we're out of the store.

"School," Carl says.

"Are you mad? You seem a little ticked off," I say.

"No," he says. I can tell something is wrong.

"Are you jealous?"

"Maybe.."

"Well, you shouldn't be. I want you, and only you." I say. But honestly, I'm not really sure if I mean it..
