"If you decided to train today, you will be accepted instantly. With your new house and clothes, no payments needed, you just need to do the jobs assigned to you," Yeri looked at Jin who was talking, and then back to her trainer. It was as if she was carefully weighing the situation.
"Assigned to me? What kind of bullcrap is that? I am an 18-year-old girl who is trying to get past the last year of my senior year! Come on, I don't want to—"
"Your tuition fee will be funded, all necessities for your school will be paid fully. As I've said, new house, new clothes, you also got your monthly salary, if you wouldn't ask," Jin spoke so eloquently that Yeri was almost convinces that she might be considering to take the chance.
At this time, Yeri could not say something. She wanted to refuse the offer but the advantages she gets is over-the-top. Plus she had no one else to stay into; her house was dusted by her own flames, her sister ran away from her, and Joy... Yeri does not want to be of any burden to her anymore. She's got problems on her own— Yeri doesn't want to make her situation even worse. This is her safest risk.
"Alright fine, but I don't need to train today. I will need to go somewhere," she glanced at Jungkook and the raven-haired man only shrugged at her.
"She can go if she wants," Jungkook said as he unwrapped the white cloth circling his fist.
A smile decorated Yeri's face, "Thank y—"
"Certainly not. Jungkook will have to see your powers and how uncontrollable you are at using it. At least, let him inspect you," Jin rebutted, "I'll have to leave since I have matters to do," the short-haired girl could not even say something back because he was already at the door.
Yeri frowned her face after she was interrupted by Jin; as the girl slowly turned to look at Jungkook, she whispered, "Does he always act like that?"
Jungkook chuckled at her, and he nodded. "You gotta get used to it."
Her frown slowly turned into a curious one as she looked at him thoroughly, "So you're a speedster? Like the Flash? How do you do it? How fast can you run?" her eyes gleamed with excitement and curiosity.
"You're unusually talkative, Kim Yerim. Let's start this training," he turned his back on Yeri and started to walk at the center of the training room.
The room was huge, can fit 100 people and more. The ceiling was also high, and it really gave Yeri a training vibes. There were one huge glass windows at each part of the wall. At the side, it was only the punching bag and other technical stuff pretty much required to train your body physically and at the center was empty.
"Show me," Jungkook started as he stood there, watching Yeri.
Yeri stared at the man and then back to her hands, "My powers?" her eyes almost bulging out as Jungkook only nodded, "W-won't this room be destroyed, I mean..."
"Don't worry, this room is completely absorbent. Heat, sound, shock, name it. Go ahead, there's no need to hold back," Jungkook gestured her to continue.
The short-haired girl lifted her hands and tried channeling the energy she can gather to her hands. She closed her eyes and suddenly she felt the surge of heat inside her body, going to her hands. With her eyes closed, she fired the heat.
Yeri opened her eyes and what she saw was a huge fire — big enough to engulf the room, if not only the room was completely heat absorbent.
"That was good, but it's not. Eh.. how do I explain it?" The man heaved a breathe. It was as if he was trying not to offend Yeri since he very much knew she tried her best showing off her powers, considering it's still new for her. "For a beginner, you did well. But you need to control how big, how far, how hot are you going to shoot."
