It was only the first few hours of the flight and Luke somehow managed to be the most annoying person in the entire world. He kept poking my face when I'm about to fall asleep and not only that, he hogged up all the pillows and snacks I had. If only it wasn't illegal to throw someone off a plane.

"What are you doing?" Luke mumbled while taking a huge bite off another Butterfinger.

Note to self: Sugar makes Luke hyper and annoying.

I lowered my phone to another angle and took my 12th  picture of the clouds. They all looked so free and fleeting, they could go wherever they wanna go and disappear along with the wind. The clouds gave me a sense of belonging.

"Isn't it a bit obvious, Luke?" I exasperated and gave off a sigh.

"I knew you loved the clouds, Gwyn. Ever since we were little you would try to reach up and grab them with your hands, it was hilarious," he chuckled lightly and all I could do was stare at him. He remembers. And here I am, thinking he forgot about everything we've been through.

I was left in a silent daze, a tear almost tried to slip when Luke spoke again. "But if the clouds were shaped as penises would you still love them though?"

Unbelievable.

I smacked his arm several times before the flight attendant told us off in a manner we wouldn't be embarrassed because obviously, we were becoming the center of disturbance and attention among the other passengers. Luke smiled victoriously and turned to the side, hugging my pillow close and finally dozed off. Thank, God.

I put my earphones on and listened to a few songs, humming and singing along and after a few hours, my eyelids finally gave up too.

.

"Oh look, they're so cute. Should I wake them up?

"No, don't."

I heard voices muttering and a camera shutter going off. Instinctively, my eyes flew open to see two flight stewardess cooing at our direction. My forehead scrunched up unknowingly. And as I was going to turn to the other side, a certain someone  put his head on top of mine. I slowly looked up to see Luke freakin' Hemmings. There, sleeping ever so soundly, his mouth slightly agape. His breathing was calm and he looked like he was better off not being woken up.

"You shouldn't move too much, Miss. Your boyfriend could wake up." One of the flight stewardess told me with a cheeky grin.

"He's not my boyfriend! Were you the one taking the pictures? That's illegal! Hey, delete those!" I half-shouted trying my best not to wake Sleeping Beauty up, grunting and thrashing around carefully but I eventually gave up. I let out a defeated sigh.

I check my phone and it's been 12 hours. We're almost there. I guess I could just wait for Luke to move around. It would be actually rude to wake him up. So I tolerate the strain developing on my neck, stole one of my pillows from Luke and waited. But due to boredom, my eyes were lulled back to sleep.

.

"Hey! Wake up, Gwyn." Something flicked my forehead and immediately I jolted up and hit my knee on one of the chairs.

I grab the pillow on the floor and the rest of my things. "Shit."

"You literally turned me into a living teddy bear, Gwyn. You should've told me, I could have given all your pillows back." Luke smirked, purplish bags, messy hair, wide eyes, and all that.

Before I could retort, Luke stood up and grabbed his backpack and a pillow. Everyone else was also starting to get off the plane and gather their things. I bit my lip and let out another frustrated sigh.
