Alex:

After dinner, we all sat in a large living room. I sat in a chair, hugging my knees to my chest. I really hoped they weren't going to teach me anything more about werewolves now. I may not have freaked out like they'd expected, but if they tried to shove any more knowledge in my head, I was sure my brain was going to explode.

I felt Rylan's eyes on me, but I didn't really have the energy to look up. I really just wanted to go to bed, but it was only seven in the evening. "How about we watch a movie?" Kane asked.

Rylan nodded, "Is everyone staying over tonight? I mean, you three will eventually have to go home, but I'm sure no one would mind if you stayed tonight." Paris, Tucker, and Cedric all responded with an affirmative. "Then how about everyone get ready for bed and we'll have a pajama party for the rest of the evening."

Paris hopped off the couch, grinning. "Yes!" he did a fist pump and then high fived Tucker.

Rylan chuckled and looked at Kane as he asked, "My room or yours?"

Kane's eyes widened as a panicked look came over his face for a moment before hastily replying, "Yours. You have the better T.V. and sound system."

Rylan scratched his head as his brows furrowed, "What are you talking about? When my dad upgraded our hallway, I told him not to bother with my T.V. since I rarely ever use it."
Kane took a step back before he asked, "Are you sure? My room is a bit of a mess..."

He trailed off as Paris spoke up, "It's not that bad. I was in there yesterday to borrow a movie."

Rylan nodded, "We can use Kane's room, then. Lexi, I'll find something for you to wear for tonight. We'll get up a little early and head to your house to grab your clothes in the morning."

"Thank you." I quietly replied.

Kane cursed and ran out of the room quickly. I assumed he left to go clean up his room, but before I could wonder about it too much, Rylan grabbed my hand and led me to the guest room, "I'll be right back with something for you to wear."

Moments later, he returned with a pair of dark blue drawstring pants and a dark red t-shirt. As soon as he went back to his own room, I quickly changed. I felt a little bit like Superman in these colors.

I stepped into the hallway and nearly ran into Paris as he raised his fist to knock on my door. "Ready?" he asked, sounding surprised. Why was he surprised when he'd been knocking on my door?

"Yes." I nodded my head in case he hadn't heard my soft reply.

"Good." He draped an arm over my shoulders and led me towards Kane's room. "I thought you'd have taken longer to change..." I shot him a look that kept him from finishing that statement. Paris opened Kane's door without knocking, and I really hoped he wasn't in the middle of getting dressed or things would get really awkward.

Luckily, he was lying on his bed wearing just a pair of black shorts. I bit my lip and quickly looked away before he found out that I'd been enjoying the scene. Kane sat up when we entered the room, "Sit up here by me, Alex." He patted the spot next to him at the head of the bed.

I pulled the pants up, which were a little too big, even with the drawstring as tight as it would go. I had originally thought they were Kane's since Rylan hadn't been gone long enough to get them from another wing in the house, but I was pretty sure that Kane didn't own anything that wasn't black.
