CHAPTER 6- PART ONE

'Lewis, what?' Rosie screamed as I told her the whole story.
'Yeah thats the truth, Lewis likes me' I said.
'But what about John then?'
'I love John and I don't like Lewis.'
'So you go and tell Lewis that you're with John.'
'I will.'
'So what's the problem? '
'Hilary'
'Hilary?'
'Yeah, she's acting bossy.'
'How come?'
'She's telling me to do what she wants.'
'What is she asking you to do?'
'She says Lewis is better that John.'
'John is cute and sweet.'
'I know that but she says that Lewis is richer than John.'
'Oh that dumb creature! Listen Maria you need to go and tell Hialry to stop telling you what to do and what not to. Tell her that you can manage your life.'
'I know but how?'
'There are two ways.'
'Go ahead.'
'First, you go ahead and tell her what you feel about her on her face. By doing this it will reamin in her head for long.'
'No no what if she gets angry.'
'Okay second, you call her up and speak to her.'
'I think the second one is much better.'

Just then Hilary came from nowhere and stood near me. We stopped talking about Hilary and just stood there silently.

'Maria, I want to talk to you' Hilary said.
'Hilary, I am busy, we'll talk later.' I said.
'No, I telling you now so it means now.'
'Hey, that's no way to talk to her' John said.
' Mr. John Bruno, I am not speaking to you, you kid.'

Saying this Hilary grabbed my hand and pulled me away from John and Rosie, I could hear both of them say stupid things about Hilary. I was not interested in hearing what Hilary was saying but then she shook me.

'Hey are you listening to what I am saying? ' Hilary spoke up.
'You can't just pull me away from my friends this way.' I replied in an instant.
'Hey come on, chill!'
'Fine. Tell me, what do you want to say.'
'Okay I want you to come with me to a party.'
'Are you alright? I don't want to come.'
'Why? Lewis will be there too.'
'So.....?'
'So you're coming with me.'

She just walked away after saying this.
Rosie and John came up to me.

'You can't tolerate her anymore now' said Rosie.
'Yeah, darling this female is getting on your nerves' said John.
'I know guys but......' I said slowly.

Just then the bell rang for my class.

'Okay guys we'll speak about Hilary after school' I said.

The bell saved me.
