Meant To Be

Chapter 16

When I got to Claire's house she was ready before I even got out of my car. She was wearing Jeans, her sandals, and a tee shirt with her beach blonde hair in a wavy pony tail. "Where are we going?" I pleaded. Because she wouldn't tell me on the phone on the way here. "I am still not telling but it is going to be a long day!" She was jumping and acted really hyper.

We got into her mums car and headed off. During the car ride, we jammed out to Katy Perry and Kesha.  It was about a 20 minute car ride to where we were going. When we finally got there I yelled out loudly. "Uncle Bill's!" It was my favorite breakfast restaurant in the entire world. (I may have exaggerated a little) We got out of the car and walked into the restaurant. The waiter took us to our seats and then got us our drinks. I ordered the house hot chocolate, like always, and Claire got the orange juice. 

"How do you drink something so hot that fast." Claire said because I chugged my piping ho chocolate like it wasn't even hot. "It was really good." I laughed. Me and  Claire chatted for a while until the waiter came back to take our orders. I ordered the bacon and eggs with a bagel and some fruit and Claire got the pancakes with sausage and sunny side eggs.

As we were leaving after we enjoyed our perfect meal, because Uncle Bill's is so incredibly good, the waiter stopped us at the door and asked Claire for her number. I was trying so hard not to bust up laughing as Claire attempted to flirt. I have to admit however he was super cute. He had soft brown hair with hazel green eyes and he was really nice, but I had Harry so I was trying not to point out every little adorable thing about him.

Finally, Claire and Jack (which was his name) said their goodbyes. "My goodness that couldn't have taken any longer." I teased as I started to mock her. "Oh Jack of course you can have my number!" she blushed and pushed me on the shoulder. "He was cute! You have to admit, I might even have a boyfriend as good as yours now." She smiled as I thought about Harry. Then she started comparing Harry and Jack and convincing me that they were the same but Harry was cuter. "Hey he's mine!" I yelled, laughing.

After we got back from breakfast Claire had to stop back at home for her wallet. "Let me guess we we're going shopping?" I said in a sarcastic tone. "Ugh, how did you guess?" she said sarcastically back. "I thought that we were going to do something fun!" I said mocking a four year old. "We will calm down tiger we are saving that for later tonight we can't arrive there until eight." I jumped up "Oh so we are going to a show!" Claire smirked. "Sort of." she smiled as we walked back outside to the car.

We went to many stores, she let me get whatever I wanted until she ran out of money. Then I had to use my own. Thankful I had fifty pounds from mum. I got a ton of shirts and dresses and I also got a new pair of running shoes and sandals to go with my dress. We spent pretty much four hours shopping, however one hour was devoted to eating lunch.

At around seven we left the shopping mall, and headed to the "show". Claire said that it was about a 40 minute drive.

"So can I know were we are going now?" I asked finally. "Okay fine." Claire turned down the music. "We are going..." she paused " to a Katy Perry concert!" I pretty much screamed Katy Perry was one of my favorite artists. Her music was so inspirational. I just wanted to go to her concert so badly but I knew my mum wouldn't let me go, it was way to expensive. She had been in town for about two weeks. "Oh my god, I  love you Claire I can't believe this! you seriously did that where did you even get tickets?" she smiled from cheek to cheek. "I knew that you'd love it,, so you know when I went to see my dad?" I nodded "Well he has a friend that had tickets and gave them to me!" I screamed again. " I was so excited I couldn't wait to get to the concert hall. and after that me and Claire listened to her soundtrack on the way there.

When we finally found a parking spot and got in line to turn in the tickets we got food and waters. "Oh my god I still can't believe you!" I was so happy. The concert started about 45 minutes after that we had to watch the opening show and wait for them to set up the stage. The entire stadium cheered as she rose up from the stage singing "wide awake". The entire time we were singing, crying, and screaming. The whole of the concert lasted about 2 hours. It was the best night ever, so far, in my entire life. I could not love Claire as much as I did right then.

After the concert was over we sat at a red-light waiting to turn green as we talked about the concert. "Thank you so much I love you Claire you are the bestest friend ever!" she laughed at my made up word. "You are very welcome, you are my best friend I would do anything for you! I had so much fun." We sat quietly for a while until we heard teenage dream come on the radio. We were shouting the lyrics, in remembrance of the concert. I couldn't wait to tell my mum and Harry all about it.
