16. Stronger Together

Charlie's P.O.V

I sat in our kitchen pondering over how to approach y/n. I don't want to push her away but I want to be there, to hold her in my arms and tell her everything's gonna be okay. Actually I'm just going to go over to y/m/n's house to set things straight, she never let me finish the other day.. I want to have this baby and I'm going to be there every step of the way. I pull the door open only to find her just about to reach for the it... There's an awkward silence that we've never had before as we stand here face to face... I can't stand it. I embrace her into a bear hug and she immediately wraps her arms around me, sobbing as I guided her in and on the couch. "Princess I've missed you so much, and I'm so sorry for not being as supportive as I should've I just... I was shocked. I didnt know how to support you. I love you so much baby, I can't eve-" I guess I was rambling on for too long as she cut me off with a long lovestruck kiss. God I missed the taste of her plump lips.

She pulled away and sat on my lap cupping my cheeks. "Chaz... I'm sorry I didn't give you time to explain, I'm sorry I stopped your tour... I'm sorry. I missed you so much too and-" she stopped to peck my lips "-I tried! I tried so hard not to make myself the centre of attention once again, but this was too much to keep away from you." She whimpered into my shoulder whilst I rocked her slightly.

She looked up at me realising that I had a tear running down my cheek, she raised her hand to wipe it away "Charlie I need to know if you're gonna be here all the way, if you're going to love me the same" "Princess if anything this will make me love you even more... If that's possible. And I'm stoked to have baby Puth on the way" I smiled sweetly putting my hand on her tummy, kissing her neck. She giggled cutely placing her hand over mine.

Your P.O.V

"So... Does the whole crew know then?" I giggled pushing Charlie's head lightly away from my neck "know what?" He said confused, "that I'm pregers Chaz" I replied rolling my eyes. He just looked at me like I was crazy "of course not baby, this is our little secret" I sighed in relief "okay, because I wanted our friends and family to know before anyone else... Including the fans" I looked down at the last bit feeling my cheeks flush. He lifted my chin with his index finger "that's fine princess, whenever you're ready"
I went to peck his lips but he pushed me onto my back as I did so, deeping the kiss. I smirked into it as he moved between my legs, it soon turned into a makeout session. I love the feel of his lips on mine.
Charlie kissed along my jawline slowly getting closer to my sweet spot. The anticipation of him kissing all around made tug at his hair slightly causing us both to moan out. He attached he lips to the crook of my neck, leaving a for-sure obvious hickey. I moaned again when I felt him grow on my leg and he sucked harder on my neck but soon realised what this would lead to. I lifted his head gently not really wanting him to stop "ch-chaz, baby we can't" he reluctantly looked up at me "I know, I know but do you know how hard 6 weeks is away from you" he said making puppy eyes. 6 weeks, I suddenly remembered about the scan "CharlieIWentForAScanToday" I blurted out. "Woah, woah calm down, slower" he said chuckling, I took a breath "I went to get a scan with my mom today because she said 5 weeks was too long without a scan. And when I got there I got pictures and a gender clarification. Plus I have another scan scheduled soon." he didn't say anything for a while "Is... He.. She, um... our baby okay?" He finally spoke out "yeah, she's just a little smaller than usual but the doc said that was fine seeing as we're in the early stages of pregnancy" "that's great. my other baby girl's as good as gold too" he smiled pulling me into a cuddle. We put our fave TV series peaky blinders (its great btw) to catch up on episodes we'd missed.

Halfway through my phone buzzed in my pocket 🌟mom: I'm guessing you guys sorted things out then?' I quickly replied 'I'm sorry mom, I completely forgot I was just so overwhelmed with everything. And yes, we have sorted things out. Thnx for everything this week I really appreciate it. Love you X💓'. I got a text back after a few seconds 🌟mom: anytime honey. I'm glad you're fine.
I've missed these nights.
