A Safe Place (Part 6)

       "Ya should be restin'," Raph growled.

       Roxan looked up. "I thought you were asleep and I'm fine!" she growled back. "I made tea for everyone," she said as she walked past him and placed the tray on the small table. She sat down and took the cups off of the tray. Raph came and sat next to her. She gave him his cup and placed her own in front of herself. "Let me know what you think of it," she told him. He took a sip of his tea and closed his eyes in relaxation. He put his cup down and looked at her. She slowly sipped her tea, enjoying the taste of it. She looked at him and said, "Thank you for taking care of me."

       Raph kept staring at her. "What did ya say yesterday mornin'?" He asked suddenly.

       Roxan had a slight blush as she looked away. "Yoi kenka, atsui shina," she answered.

        He inched closer to her. "What does it mean?" he asked.

      Roxan blushed even more. "It means 'nice fighting hot stuff..." she trailed off at a whisper.

      Raph was right next to her as he whispered in her ear seductively, "Kondo toki anata ya watashi kiboo motsu made sensoo ni watashi no heya hitoride."

        Roxan's face was a deep shade of crimson when she looked at him shocked. "H-how?" she asked.

        "Maste' Splinte' taught us. Mikey just doesn't pay attention," he told her with a smug smirk. "Now ya need ta rest," he told her.

        "Fine," she sighed. She finished her tea and climbed back in bed. "Just so you know I'll die of boredom before I'm done healing," she said as she smiled.

        Raph chuckled as he cleaned up the tea cups and left the room.

    ~~~~One week later in japan~~~~

         Kisumi was sitting in the garden reading about her herbs. She heard a rustle in the bushes to her right. "Kitsu-chan, I know that's you," she quietly called out. There was no response. She continued reading when she heard it again. "Kitsuda!" she yelled.

       "What?" Kitsuda yelled from his room.

      'Wait. If Kitsuda is in his room, than what's in the bushes?' she asked herself. "Kitsuda can you come here?" she asked.

         Kitsuda came outside looking annoyed. "What?" he asked.

        "There's something in the bushes," Kisumi said as she pointed to her right with worry in her eyes.

         The 2 shadow wolves emerged from the bushes and combined into Roxan's form. Roxan's shadow looked at both of them before speaking, "Watashi iru anata futari tome e New York Shi. Watashi motsu isogi no tayori! Ni shitagau kono ookami's! Karera negai annai suru anatagata watashi ni!" They turned back into the wolves.

       Kisumi looked at Kitsuda. "Do you know what this means?" she asked.

         "A road trip?" Kitsuda asked excited.

         Kisumi rolled her eyes. "No. It means our sister has found Himiko," she said as she stood up and went to pack a few bags. Kisumi packed some clothes, her herbal scrolls and books, medicine, bathroom supplies, and her bo staff.

         Kitsuda packed some clothes, food, video games, bathroom supplies, and his nun-chucks. "I'm ready!" he exclaimed as he came bouncing out of the mansion in excitement.

         "Good. Let's go," Kisumi said as she began to follow the wolves.

Translation:

Raph: Next time you and I will have to battle in my room alone.

Shadow Wolves: I need you both to come to New York City. I have urgent news! Follow these wolves! They will lead you to me!
