Roxan stood and walked over to Raph. "Who are they?" she whispered in his ear.

He looked at her and put his left hand on the small of her back. "Let me introduce you," he whispered back while slightly pushing her forward. Raph cleared his throat. Everyone looked in his direction and noticed Roxan standing there in her red sports bra and black spandex pants.

"Whoa," was all the guy could say.

"Hello. I'm April O'Neill. You are?" the woman asked as she held her hand out. Roxan stared at them. She didn't move. She just stood there analyzing them both.

"And I'm Casey Jones," the man said with a smug smirk.

Still Roxan refused to respond. Splinter saw this and came forward. "Do not worry child. They are friends," he told her with a gentle smile.

She looked at Splinter and asked, "Doo dekiru anata iru taskika na?"

He kept smiling his gentle smile as he replied, "We have been friends for a long time. April is my student."

Roxan slowly nodded her acceptance of his words. She looked at Casey and April. "My name is Roxan Sterling," she bowed a short and simple bow. "Now may we go?" she asked as her crystal blue eye scanned everyone.

     "Yes child," Splinter nodded.

"Go whe'e?" Casey asked as he followed them out of the laire.

"I shall explain on the way," Roxan answered. "You know of my name, but not what I am, where I come from, and why I am here?" she questioned the newcomers.

      "I guess?" April answered questioningly.

Roxan continued, "I am an ookami youkai. There are four others that are similar to me. Three are my age. The last is our sensei. Two of my comrades are on their way here to help me with a mission that has lasted since we were young. One of my sisters is being held by Oroku Saki. You may know him as Shredder." She spit his name out like it was poison. "I was her guard until recently when I found out his plans for her..."

She was cut off by Casey, "So you'e tellin' me that you worked fo' Shredde'?" he asked.

"I did not work for him! I worked for Lady Himiko! She does not understand the evil of this world, for I have shielded her from it!" Roxan growled.

April elbowed him in the ribs. "Watch what you say! Some words hurt," she whispered.

       "Sorry," he said.

Roxan kept her head held high throughout the journey. Raph walked right next to her. "So, how do ya know of this place?" he asked.

She smirked, "I would stay there off and on. It's the perfect hiding place. Shredder doesn't even know it exists." She glanced at him from the corner of her eye.

Raph smirked and pat her on the head. He leaned into her and whispered in her ear, making her shiver, "At least you'll be safe." He straightened and kept walking with a smug smirk on his face.

Roxan thought back on the past 3 weeks. She's happy that she met the boys and Master Splinter. They made her happy and gave her people to trust.  There was a problem though. When she was around Raph she would get butterflies in her stomach. They would end up flirting with eachother when they thought no one was watching. And what was with that kiss this morning? She felt like she could sprout wings and fly away. If Splinter hadn't walked in when he did she didn't know what could have happened. All she knew was she felt safe with Raph.

An hour later they ended up at an old iron gate deep in the woods,  on the outskirts of the city. "Here we are," Roxan smiled. She opened the gate and waited for them to enter. When they did she closed the gate behind her. "Please come in," she said as she opened the door for them.
