Lola walked around a big mansion full of niggas and strippers.
"Alright now girls show these niggas what y'all working with. Make them give up them dollas!" she yelled through a mic she was holding. She walked around as the girls danced in niggas' faces, also taking them to the back rooms for private parties. Lola looked at the party she set up rating it a success!
"You did good baby!" Rich said, coming up behind her. "Business with you is going to be great." Lola was proud of herself. Her plan was going great and she was making money in the process. The party went on all night until the next morning. Lola woke up naked next to Rich in a bedroom alone. She crept out of bed putting her clothes on then walking around seeing niggas drunk and wasted everywhere. All her girls were about gone. They knew to come see her later at Rich's club with their earnings.
She got herself together, leaving out and getting in the Cadillac Rich bought for her and driving to her mother's house. Her mother had agreed to watch Lozella while she was out working. Her mother didn't know what she did. She just knew she worked.
"Hey momma. How was she?" Lola asked.
"She was an angel, as usual."
"That's good." Lola picked Lozella up getting her bag and things in order.
"When you bringing my grandbaby back over"
"I don't know, probably in a few days. I got a couple days off work so you won't need to watch her."
"Where do you work?" she asked, with a puzzled face.
"I work where I work Ma, does it matter?
"You working at that club again?" she asked, disdained.
"Ma, now is not the time to be questioning me about where I work. You wanted me to get a job so I got one."
"You were doing fine at the shop. Why'd you stop working there?"
"I just wasn't making enough and it was in the way of my other job. I had to choose one so I chose the other one."
"Umhmm." Kat shook her head. "You just best to be careful out there." She couldn't do anything or make her do anything. She was grown so she wasn't going to try and make her do anything. Just give her words of wisdom and hope she follow.
Lola walked out with Lozella making her way to the park with Lozella since it was a nice day outside. She opened her stroller and placed her inside. Lozella woke up seeing her mother smiling a bit. Lola made her a bottle, handing it to her. She sat on a bench thinking about Psycho. Wondering whether he was still in jail and what would happen if she was to even go visit him. She wasn't going to chance it though because he probably got a bounty on her head.
"Damn, I fucked up," she said to herself. But I'm going to get us back on our feet baby girl. Lola looked down at Lozella, smiling at her daughter
