The first thing I saw when I walked through the doors, was my dad standing at the other side of the hallway. I ran across the hall, and almost tripped over someone along the way. "Sorry!" I called out. He didn't even acknowledge that I was there. "Jerk" I muttered under my breath. I walked the rest of the way over. "Hi Jess!" My dad pulled me into a tight hug. "Hi dad. I missed you." I said into his shoulder. "Was the ride here ok? How's life back at home? Are you hungry?" My dad was asking me a lot of questions. "The ride here was great, home is amazing. Well, was. And yes, I'm really hungry." I laughed at everything. "Okay, I'll take you to your room. Then I'll show you around." "Thanks dad. I'm not going to be with a bunch of guys right?" "Do you think I would really put you with a bunch of guys that haven't seen a real girl in months?" We both laughed. "Okay so this is your dorm, number 123. So you can go in and get settled. I'll be back here in about half an hour to show you around." "Okay dad thanks." I went in the room and there was bunk beds, a desk with a mirror, and a couple dressers. "I could get used to this." *BANG* oh jeez what was that. Maybe it was my room mates. I should go introduce myself. I put my bags on my bed and walked out the door. "It's really noisy in there." I thought to myself. I knocked on their door and the music stopped. Feet shuffling, then the door opened. "Ummm... Hi?" I asked them. There was a guy standing at the door, staring at me. The other was sitting on his bed, also staring at me. "Oh hi I'm Billy, and this is Joey. I didn't know they allowed girls here?" "Ya they do." I giggled. They were kind of cute. "I'm Jess by the way." "Nice to meet you Jess." Billy said and shook my hand. "So, why are you here?" Joey asked and walked towards me. "Well, my dads the dean, and I got expelled from 4 schools and none of the others would accept me. So my dad put in a request and they said I could. So now I'm here." I said flatly. "Wow, I didn't know they could do that." Billy said. "Well yep apparently they can." I said. "So your dad's the dean?" Joey asked me. "Ya he is. It's kind of weird with a family member here with me." "Hey, do you think you could put in a good word with him for me?" Billy said with a wink. I just sat there and laughed. "Sorry, I don't think I can do that." We all laughed together this time. "Hey, do you know what time it is? My dad said he would take me on a tour around 11." "It's 10:45. So you got another 15 minutes." "Okay thanks" "Anytime" Joey said with a smile. Wow. He's a really attractive person. So is Billy but Joey just has a little more to him. "So what do you guys do for fun around here?" I asked them "Well, we usually just sit around, and we sometimes sneak out. But that's a secret. You have to meet our friends. I bet they would like you." I giggled. The rest of the time we listened to music and talked about what it's like here. "I better get going, my dad will be here any minute." "BYE JESS!!" They said in unison. While laughing, I said bye and I would talk to them at lunch. I walked out the door and my dad was standing right there. "So I see you met Joey and Billy." "Yes I have, they seem like some pretty nice people." I told him. "Well, I want you to be careful. Billy is a big troublemaker." "Don't worry dad, I'll be really careful." "Okay sweetie, let's go."
