The school was huge. Even after the tour, I was still confused about where everything is. "Thanks dad, I'm just going to go back to my room until lunch." "Ok no problem sweetie. See you at lunch." Walking back to my room, everyone stared at me. It was a little weird for me, since I'm not used to this much attention. I sped up a little, and I wasn't watching so of course I bumped into someone. "Jess!" Joey practically screamed in my ear. "Joey quiet down you're yelling at me and I'm right beside you." I laughed at him. "Sorry." He said more quiet. "Why were you in such a rush?" He asked me. "Everyone is staring at me. It's really awkward. I just wanted to avoid them." "Oh I get it. You can come back to my room until lunch if you want." "Sure that would be great. Thanks Joey." I smiled at him. He blushed a little. "Billy isn't there though. He got in trouble again with the dean." I rolled my eyes in a funny way. "Of course he did. My dad told me to be careful about him. Because he said he's a trouble maker." "He really is, but I mean if you get to know him, he's a super nice guy." Joey looked at me. "Hey, do you want to stop in the art room? I have to pick up something from there." Joey asked. "Sure, as long as we will be back in time for lunch. I'm starving." "Of course we will. Here, I'll show you the way." He looked back at me and took my hand. I got super happy, and he lead me down the hall. "Here we are." He said. "Wow it's amazing. It's so big!" I stood there in awe. "So are you coming in or are you just gonna stand there all day?" He asked with a smile. I snapped out of my trance and laughed. We walked over to a couch and sat down. "Don't you have to get something from here?" I asked him. "No, I just wanted to have some alone time with you. To get to know you more." He looked at me. "Sounds like a great plan." I smiled at him. We talked for half an hour, all about what our lives are like, our parents, our likes and dislikes. It was a really fun time. "We should probably get going." I told him. "Ya we should." He said back. We got up and started walking out the door. We saw Billy right outside the office, so we walked over there first. "Hey Billy!" Joey yelled across the hall. Billy looked over and started walking towards us. "Hey guys what's up?" Billy asked. "We were just about to head for lunch you ready?" Joey asked. "Of course! When am I never ready Joseph Trotta?" I laughed. "What's so funny little miss trouble?" Joey asked me with a smile. I playfully punched his arm. "How about y'all stop flirting and let's go get lunch!" Billy exclaimed. I looked at Joey and he was blushing. We made eye contact and laughed at each other. When we got to the cafeteria, Joey and Billy started leading me to a table filled with guys. "Guys, this is Jess." Billy told them. They looked me up and down, and smiled. "Well well well, what do we got here?" The guy with blonde hair asked with a smirk. "Don't worry about Snuffy over here." Joey said while laughing. "Jess that's Snuffy, Hank is the one with the glasses, and Ricardo is the one sitting on the other side." I looked at all them. "Hi guys." I said shyly. "Why are you here?" Ricardo asked me, kind of rudely. "Well my dads the Dean and I got expelled from 4 schools so I had no where else to go. Now I'm here." I looked around. They were whispering to each other. "Here Jess sit down I'll get you some lunch." Joey said after a long pause of silence. "Thanks Joey." I sat down beside Billy. "Enjoying it here?" Hank asked me. "I mean, it's better than some places I've been. So ya, I'm liking it. Everyone likes to stare at me though." They laughed. "Because none of us have seen a girl in months sweets." Snuffy said. Aaaahhhhh Joey come back?? Soon? Ok good he's right there walking to the table. "I got your food for you." "Thanks Joey. This looks pretty good actually." "Ya it does. Let's eat." Billy said.
