I looked at him with wide eyes. "You're kidding right?" I asked in a serious tone. "No Jess, I'm not kidding. Even though we have only known echo there for, what, less than 24 hours? I love you. I know it sounds crazy, but I really do. I hope you feel the same way." I stared him in the eye. What do I say? I mean, I really like him to. Should I just tell him? I'm going to tell him. "Joey, I really like you to. Like, like you. More than a friend." He was staring into my eyes. He smiled at me. "I thought so." He said. He leaned in and kissed me. He is a really good kisser I thought to myself. The Sparks were going off, and I felt amazing. He pulled back, and pulled me into a tight hug. "I love you Jess." "I love you Joey." Then there was a loud tapping on the door. "Jess, Joey, I know you're in there." Ah it was Billy. I recognized his voice right away. I jumped off my bed and opened the door. "Hey Billy, come in." I said to him. He walked in slowly, looking at the picture on my bed. "So you guys had a little fun in here, hey?" He said with a smile and a wink. "BILLY STOP IT NO STOP BILLY YOU SICKO!!" Joey yelled at him. I closed the door and laughed at Joey. "Billy oh my gosh you sicko." I looked at him and laughed some more. Eventually we all laughed. "Come one guys I heard you talking from outside." Billy said. I blushed, and so did Joey. "Okay, we might have kissed and confessed our love for each other, but that's it." I told Billy. Joey looked at me with a concerned look. Billy must have noticed because he said "Oh come on Joey it's not that bad." Joey seemed to calm down a little. "Okay Billy, just try not to tell the whole school." Joey looked at Billy. "I'm just going to go to the washroom I'll be right back." I told the boys. I walked out the room and went to the washrooms. When I got back, the boys were fighting on my bed. "Guys what are you doing?" I asked with a smile. "Oh Jess I didn't realize you were back." Joey exclaimed, getting off my bed. "I'm just going to finish unpacking, if you guys want to help." I told them. "Ya, that would be great." Billy said. After we finished unpacking, it was nearly dinner time. "We should get going we will be late for dinner." Billy said, practically running to the door. "Okay Billy we're coming!" I said. We walked all the way to the cafeteria, and we found the other guys. "Hey guys you ready for tonight's dinner?" Ricardo asked. "Oh ya, I'm still starving." I said back. Everyone laughed. "What's the problem?" I asked them. "You just seem very enthusiastic about food." Joey said with a smile. I laughed a little. "I'll go get us some dinner." Snuffy said. Dinner was caesar salad and pulled pork sandwiches. It was really good. After dinner I went to the bathrooms to wash up and get ready for bed. I was super tired from all the crap that went on today. I went back to my room and started listening to my music. After a few minutes, I heard a knock on the door. "Jess, it's Joey. Can I come in for a minute?" Joey asked. "Ya sure. I'm almost asleep though." I said as he was coming through the door. "I just came to say goodnight." He said while sitting on my bed. "Goodnight Joey." I smiled at him. "Goodnight Jess." He said and kissed my forehead. Then my lips. He got up after that and left. I fell asleep feeling happy from my first day of this school. I have a feeling I'll be here a while. I drifted off into a deep sleep.
