Chapter 14 Back To School

It's been 2 weeks and 3 days since Ariana stepped foot in the orphanage center and signed the contract . If you told my younger self that I would be living with Ariana Grande , trust me , I wouldn't believe you .

I wonder how my former parents are doing . I'm pretty sure my mom is doing fine but I'm not so sure about my dad . I've thought about visiting them but that would mean I had to ask Ariana , and I'm not so sure I wanna bring up my past life .

I get up from my bed and hear my phone ( which Ariana bought me yesterday ) vibrate from the table beside me . I unplug the charger and unlock my phone to see the text.

Ariana : Do you wan't pancakes for breakfast ?

Alexa : Yeah , sure .

Ariana : Ok .

Alexa : Wait , why are you texting me when we're both in the house ?

Ariana : Actually , I'm at the grocery store because we don't have any food at home .

Alexa : Oh , ok .

Ariana : So pancakes ?

Alexa : Mhm .

After that conversation , I put my phone down and went to take a shower.

I put on an outfit from my closet which was a plain white t-shirt and denim shorts . I dry my hair and comb it . Letting it fall down I grab my phone and jogged down the stairs .

" Hey guys , I'm back ! " Ariana says bursting through the door carrying a bunch of bags .

" Hey , there's more in the car . Help me get it ? " She asks me once she had put down the bags .

" Ok . " I reply her and walk outside . I walk to the car and grab a grocery bag .

But then , I caught an envelope slipping out of the mailbox . I took out the envelope .

" Vienna Sawyer Elementary School . " I read . I shrugged and took both the wnvelope and the grocery bag into the house .

I put the grocery bag on the table along with the envelope .

" Hey , Ariana ! I found something in the mailbox . " I say .

" What did you find ?" She quickly asks .

"This . " I said , putting the envelope in front of her . Suddenly , her face changed expression into a shocked expression . She quickly took the envelope from me and opened it up .

" You weren't suppose to see this ." She said still shocked .

"But what is it for ?" I asked her .

She let out a long sigh and put the envelope on the counter table . " Ok , so a few days ago I signed you up for a school . Which is the Vienna Sawyer Elementary school and it looks like they've accepted you . " She admitted .

" Wow ." I said , out of shock .

" Do you wan't to see the brochure ? " She cheekily asked .

"Um , ok . " I said and put my hand out to take it from her .

But before I could take the brochure my Ariana , Luke came brushing past us and grabbed the brochure from Ariana . " Woah , woah , woah . Looks like our little Lexi is going to school huh . " He said flipping through the brochure .

" Give it to me . " I said trying to get the brochure from him .

He raised his hand higher while I tried to take it from him . " Vienna Sawyer Elementary School , huh . Sounds posh . " Luke says .
