Chapter 18 Caught On Camera

Ariana's POV
It's been 4 days . Four days since she left . And four days since I locked myself in my room .

Life's been horrible ever since Alexa ran away . My fans have been very supportive and even they are joining the search . Police have been searching but she seems like she just disappeared .

" Ariana ! " Beau calls .

" The police found something ! "

The second I hear those words I'm instantly awake . I pull on a pair of clean clothes , not bothering about my hair and sprint down the stairs .

" What are you waiting for ? Let's go ! " I shout .

The ride in the car is silent . But I'm trembling . She might be dead or hurt.

"We're here," Beau says as he turns off the ignition. The police station's blue roof glimmers under the sunlight as we walk towards it.

"Hi, may we know where Chief Andrew is?" Jai asks as he props his elbows up on the counter.

"I'm here guys," a voice calls from the corner of the room.

I turn my head to face the smiling chief.

"C'mon guys. We have something to show you," he waves at us to follow him.

In the room, a man, who introduced himself has Chief Mark is waiting for us with a screen next to him.

"Hello," he greats us. "So, we have some news that could help find Alexa."

"Really? Please show us," I was too eager to know and was fed up of wasting time.

Chied Andrew turns on the computer and shows us a video taken from a security camera.

"Last night, a bakery's security camera caught a girl being cornered by two men," Chief Andrew zooms into the girls blurry face.

"Alexa," I gasp.

"Yes, it seems two be Alexa who was attacked by the two men. But to our surprise she managed to defeat them."Chief Mark says.

"What?" Luke says, eyes wide. I was shocked too. Alexa, a wee little ten year old defeating two grown men?

Impossible.

"She seems to be very skilled in self defense," Chief Andrew adds as he reaches twords the mouse and presses play.

We watch the video in silence.

Alexa is nowhere to be seen but two men are walking towards a tree. She appears behind the tree, shocked, and grabs the two men's wrists are drags them down.

She seems exhausted.

One of the men pulls himself up and grabs Alexa by the waist. He carries her up as she screams, terrified.

Alexa punches his nose and kicks his knee fold.
The man shouts and brings Alexa down with him slamming their faces onto the floor.

She scrambles to her feet and screams. She pulls out a can of pepper spray and sprays onto the mans face.

She grabs backpack and she runs away.

Hey! Guess whos alive. Yeah...um well i did basically abandon this story but I'm back...I hope. But I hope you enjoyed this short chapter and Im not really sure when I'll update again but...BYE.
