Chapter 2 It's A Surprise

I woke up to the sound of my alarm . I hit the snooze button and got up from my bed . I did my usual routine again and went downstairs for breakfast . I ate my bacon and eggs and thanked Ms. Eve for cooking it . Then I went outside , took my bike and rode all the way to school . I am the only one in the foster home to go to school . My parents paid for my school fees for 2 years . This is my first year . At school , I walked to my first class which was Math and sat at an empty seat . I don't really have friends at all , no one ever talks to me except for some guy in my class that always pokes me and pulls my hair . Then there is another girl in my class , who likes to bully people . Insulting them punching them and slapping them . Her name is Angelina . She says its a italian princesses name , everyone believes her except for me of course . I know my history much better than her and there is no italian princces called Angelina . I have been bullied by her many times . Everyone bullies me , they say I'm a stupid foster kid that doesn't belong in the school . They say that know one wants me even my parents , they sent me to a foster home . I know that they are right . No one wants me , no one has even adopted me yet anyways .

My Math teacher , Ms.Ping came in and told us to take our seats . I slumped on my chair and took out my pencil case , math book and a notebook .

"Ok, class I hope you have done your homework please turn it in to me now . For thoughs who didn't do it raise up your hand and I will give you a dentention slip " my teacher said

5 kids raised up there hands and Ms.Ping gave them a detention slip . I , being the good girl I am , turned in my homework which was neatly done and the calculations were checked over and over again by me to see if there were any mistakes . After that , my teacher gave us a worksheet and I did it in a breeze . I gave it to my teacher and was dismissed early . I didn't know what to to do so I just roamed the halls looking at the pictures thay hanged on the notice board . My class door opened ......"Miss Sky ?"
"Yes?"
"There is a phone call for you , go to the office and get it ."
"Ok"I walked to the office and asked the principal's asisstant if I could get the phone . She gave me the phone and I started speaking .
"Hello?"
"Oh hi Alexa"
"Miss Eve?"
"Ah , yes it's me . Umm..can you come back to the foster home there is a nice young lady here who wants to meet you "
"No way ..."
"Yes way.."
"Omg I can't believe someone is finally going to adopt me!!!"I squeled so hard in my head it was almost going explode"
"Well , don't get too excited . She is going to choose between you or Michelle . "
"Ugh...you just ruined the moment "
"Now Alexa , what did I tell you about being sassy?"
"Oh sorry "
"It's ok , just don't be sassy infront of the lady okay ? Now tell you're teacher I asked you to come home , and then GET YOU BUTT HERE ! "
"Ok , ok I'll be there soon . Bye !
"Bye Alexa , and you beter hurr-"I hung up before she could finish . I ran to the Math room and told my teacher . She agreed and so I headed out the door .

"How do you know Angelina"

"Oh, how do I know . I know cuz your just a unwanted orphan . "

"I'm not an orphan ! Well I won't be one soon "

"Pfft...yeah right that will be the day I die"

"Ok great then..cuz you'll die very soon ."Angelina didn't reply cuz the whole class was staring at us . I walked out of class and heard a bit of mumbering from Angelina .

"Oh what was that Angelina did you say something ?"

"Nope"I rolled my eyes and walked out of the class .

When I reached the foster home I found Ms.Eve and Michelle sitting on the couch . Ms.Eve patted a spot next to her . I sat there in awkward silence , but Michelle decided to break it .

"Of course she is gonna choose me !"

"How do you know ?"

"I know because I'm pretty and I have long beautiful blonde hair . She would definitly want me . "

"Now girls don't be so confident . I won't pick sides but I know that she will love both of you . "Ms.Eve said trying to break our fight .

"Ms.Eve..."

"Yes Alexa?"

"Well...ummm...I wanted to know how this woman looks like ."

"Hmmm...that is a surprise . You'll see when she comes . Just then a car parked infront of the foster home .
