Great, my bus. is not here yet....Darn it! If I stay here, the others will soon find me....Shut! Where does this bus even go? That adress sounds familiar.....
She was at the bus station and in front of her was standing the bus to Marvel Street. The only one which would go into that zone of the city, because, let's face it, it was the "ghetto" neighbourhood of this elite town.
I know! It's the adress Alice gave me!
She checked on her backpack and, yep, it really was. Not thinking twice, she got in.
Maybe going somewhere new will help,-she thought while getting a bus ticket and sitting near the window.
Time skip
Huh, this doesn't seem as such a big deal! Everyone at school keeps saying it's a hazardous place. Yeah right! Sure, it's a bit, less clean than my neighbourhood....and darker....but who cares? The place looks nice....Oh, it must be the park Alice told me about.
Jacquline walked towards a big junk place, remodelled as a parkour gym. It did seem though as a kind of exclusive place. They even had two muscled jocks to guide the entrance. How clichéd is this author...
-Hello gentlemen!- Jacquline greeted. They both gazed her, then exchanged a surprised look. And burst into laughter. That for sure insulted the young lady.
-Um, excuse me? What's so funny?
-Not much miss, it's just that, we don't get much visitors of your kind in here,-the one with dark glasses said.
-Yeah! It's not like people like you hang out with people like us, or like them,-added his friend.
-Well, I'm here being invited by a school friend, and it would be rather impolite if you would block my entrance,-Jacqueline responded, trying to sound as ironic as her manners would let her.
-Oh sweet jesus Jas, the girl is funny! Listen miss, we don't usually let people in, but you sure are an exception. Come in,-the second guy, who happened to be a ginger like Alice, said, moving slightly to let Jacquline in.
Once she got in, she was thrilled. People racing each other, jumping over trash bins and crawling through old furniture. She could feel adrenaline rushing in her blood.
This is amazing! I mean, look at them! They seem to break every single physic rule I know, but yet get good use of them as well! The power, the speed, the fall... fascinating!
While she was looking around, Alice noticed her and decided to give her classmate a show to remember. She started running and climbed on top of the rubbish pile. Using a small old wooden board, she surfed down, jumping of the board a second before it broke into pieces, ending centimetres away from Jacquline, who was stunned.
-That was great! Wow! Bravo!-Jacquline clapped.
-Nah, it was no big deal. It only takes...
-You think you can teach me?
The question caught Alice off guard. She never expected a girl like Jacquline to parkour.
Hehe...well, since I expect to pass Math without learning, I could help her with parkour....
-Sure thing Jackie!-she laughed and playfully hit her shoulder, which made Jacquline wimp in pain.
-Gosh, did it really hurt? Girl, we got to work on that....-she smiled and leaded her to
one of the begginer's obstacles.
