"Wake up! Wake up!" Hermione yelled while shacking me. "We are so late to Potions class!"
"Hmmm. Where is the class?" I asked, slowly opening my eyes.
"It's in the dungeons!" she said from the door. She looked at me with begging eyes not to make her wait for me.
"You can go without me..." I sighed. She dashed out the door leaving me alone in the whole Gryffindor tower. I slowly got out of the bed and thought that I shouldn't hury as I was exeptionally late already.
I took out my uniform and stared at it in awe. How could anyone wear that tedious thing? I decided to take out my sewing kit and make some adjustments to it. I shortened the skirt, a lot I might add, I tightened the vest and I searched for my black pumps. I combed my hair, put some mascara on and some lipstick. I wasn't oblivious to the muggle ways as I used to spend all my holydays in their world. Before I walked out the door I glanced in the mirror and I wasn't sure why I did all that. But it felt like I had to impress.
I walked down to the dungeons, not sure at times where to turn, but I finally got there. I knocked on the door, and someone yelled to enter. I opened the door preparing myself for some kind of lecture regarding punctuality. I walked in, my pumps clumping on the old wooden floor. All eyes turned to me. It felt nice, in a twisted way.
"Miss Tilynher, if i'm not mistaken. I am professor Slughorn and I will be your potions teacher. I hope this is the last time you will be late to my class. Please grab a textbook from the cabinet and choose a partner."
I went to the cabinet by the door and grabbed the only textbook left. Then I turned and sought a partner but everyone seemed to be taken. Slughorn saw I still haven't sat so he said
"I believe Mr. Malfoy doesn't have a partner."
I still didn't move. I couldn't quite see Malfoy.
"For goodness sake! Can I get on with my lesson?"
"Certainly, sir. I'm sorry for my disturbance." I said when I finally saw him at the back of the classroom, fidgeting with something. I went to my place, making much more noise than I intended with my shoes. I sat down opposite from Malfoy, opening my book and listening to professor Slughorn. We were supposed to make Draught of Living Death. I couldn't quite cut the Sopophorous bean and it bounced into Malfoy's head. I put my hand over my mouth to stop laughing, but I still giggled.
"What's so funny?" he asked with a menacing look.
"Nothing." I said, still giggling. I turned back to my work, but he had other plans in mind.
"I didn't get to introduce myself." he said, streching out his right hand. "My name is Draco Malfoy."
"I think you now know who I am." I responded, not reaching to shake his hand. I didn't look up to see his face, but I felt that he was looking at me. After minutes I still felt the sting of his eyes. I raised my head in exasperation.
