CATHYS POV

Oh. My. God. Did he just say that I was perfect. No, he couldn't have. He's too perfect to say that. I stood there in shock. "Oh whoops," he said kind of nervously, "it just kinda slipped." I quickly changed the subject, "So we're off!"

After we did everything on my list I was a little exhausted. "What next?" He asked. "Next we sleep." I said smiling sleepily. We drove back home and I immediately went to bed.

I woke up happy knowing that had a friend and that my life was turning around. A friendship. That's all I needed. I heard a knock on my door. "Come in!" Asher walked in, shirtless. Damn. I'm pretty sure I was blushing like crazy at that point. I looked down so he wouldn't see my face. "Do you want to go to the beach with me and Mason?" He asked dragging a hand through his hair. "Yeah." I said nervously biting my lip. I think I like Asher. No. No. I will not fall in love with him. Not a chance. I immediately dismissed the thought and began to get ready.

I pulled on a pink and orange bikini and a black sundress over. I topped it all off with light make up. I didn't bother to wear shoes (cuz it's a beach) or do my hair because I knew I would be in the water. Either I would willingly get in or I will be thrown in, one of the two. I met them downstair and made some toast. After eating we all got in the car and headed out.

"Do you mind if we pick up a friend on the way?" Mason asked as Asher focused on the road. "Sure as long as their not gonna end up dramatically saving my ass like Asher did." I said laughing. Asher smirked at me through the rear view mirror. We stopped at a house and a blonde, shorter boy walked waving. He ran to the car hopped in the backseat. "Mason, did you finally get a girlfriend?" He asked, "By the way, I'm Cole."

"Nope, that's Asher's 'friend'" he said putting air quotes around friend. Asher's face showed the slightest annoyance and I blushed a tiny bit. "Well if your Asher's friend, your my friend too." He said smiling, "Now, so I don't have to call you friend all the time, what's your name?"

"Catherine, but my friends call me Cathy." I said my happiness basically glowing through me.
