CATHY'S POV

Before we could even exchange numbers I realized something. "I'm late!" I yelled. I looked at him seemed surprised as I was packing my stuff as quickly as possible. "Wait, but what about your number?" He asked looking a little upset. I felt bad so I told him I could meet him back here after I went to my classes. "Is around 2:00 okay?" I asked. "Perfect." He said a little more cheered up now. I ran out the door. "Bye!" I heard him yell as I walked out the door.

I quickly pulled out my glasses and put them on. I hopped in my car and drove as fast as the speed limit hoping to only be a few minutes late, especially since she had genetics first block. Once I pulled up to my school and got out of my car, I sprinted inside. I almost slipped when I got to the door, but I caught myself. I ran into the office painting and said as I was panting hysterically, "I'm super sorry." The desk lady stared at me in disbelief. "I got stuck...in traffic." I told a white lie. She wrote me a pass to class and I hurriedly walked to class, no running in the halls.

I walked into my class and quietly sat in the back. Thankfully, Prof. Johnson, my genetics professor, hadn't passed out the tests yet. "Well, Ms. Willosen, looks like you decided to show up?" I walked to front of the room as everyone stared at me with dirty looks. I handed him my pass and walked back to my seat. "*cough*slut*cough*" an immature boy said as I passed him. I was used to it, like I said, everyone hated me.

Prof. Johnson passed out the inch thick test and everyone was silent, except for those few whispers of people cheating. I couldn't focus on my test though, and that was a first. All I could think about was that piece of perfection, Asher, I met at Starbucks. I loved his name, Asher. It was unique and absolutely adorable. I wondered what he was doing right now.

*An hour later*

ASHERS POV

"Hey!" a voice shouted angrily at me. I swerved my penny board to avoid a man in my path, I had turned into an alley. "Watch where you're going, kid!" The man yelled. I bent over to pick up my Penny board as I got back up I noticed it was 10 minutes till 2:00. Better head to Starbucks. Suddenly, I heard a soft sobbing around the corner of the alley. I cautiously walked around the corner and saw a girl curled up against the brick wall. I recognized the outfit, I thought about it for a second..."Cathy!" I yelled realizing it was her. A million questions popped in my head. Was she okay? What happened to her? How did she get here?

"Are you okay? What happened?" I asked worriedly. She couldn't stop crying. She was holding her wrist too, but why? Blood. She was bleeding, then I noticed a piece of glass with blood on the tip. She had cut herself. At this point, I didn't know what to do. I took off my sweat shirt and carefully grabbed her hand. I wrapped her wrist with it and cradled her. I carried her to my car as people stared. When I set her down in the front seat I began trying to figure out what happened.

"Cathy," I paused for a second still worried she was hurt, "wha-what happened?" My voice was shaky cause I was still in shock from the situation. She slowly looked at me with innocence and began tell the story.

CATHY'S POV

*RIIIINNNNNG*

We all rushed out of class and raced for the next one. I was suddenly stopped in my tracks by Clarice "Where do you think you're going?" She growled. "My car, Clarice, now leave me alone." I demanded, but she ignored me. "Not a chance, slut!" She snickered. I was backed into a corner. All of a sudden I was surrounded by a few girls that were a lot bigger than me.

It all went downhill from there.
