"Are you ready?" Peter asked as I walked down stairs.
No, I thought. I'd barely slept all night. I was too stressed about today. Yesterday I had gotten away with hiding in my room away from Ash. But today was going to be different. I would see Ash in the halls, and in the cafeteria. In class he sat behind me, and everywhere I went I seemed to run into one of his friends. I couldn't get away.
I wasn't going to give him the pleasure of seeing my cry when I saw him though, I had made up my mind that when I saw him I'd just ignore him, show him that I was fine without him, that I didn't care.

Peter raised his eyebrows bringing me back into reality.
I nodded my head. "Yeah."
Peter grabbed his bag, with me quickly following behind. Ash was nowhere to be seen, But Andrew and Noah sat at the island eating they're cereal.
Andrew gave me a quick smile as Noah slurped his milk and gave us a big smile.
"Bye guys!" he said.
I smiled and Peter laughed as we left the house.

It was colder then I expected, all I was wearing was shorts and an green over sized plaid shirt with a tank top on the bottom.
"Are you going to be okay today?" Peter asked as we hoped into the pick up truck.
I nodded my head. "Ya, I mean it's not that cold."
Peter rolled his eyes and shook his head.
"You know that's not what I mean." he said.
I sighed. "I'll be fine." I said looking out the window.
He raised his eyebrows.
"You sure? You and Ash, it got pretty intense yesterday. You seems really upset." he said
I rolled my eyes. "I was, I just missed my brother. and every now and then, something will happen. And everything comes out. I just sorta lost control yesterday. I'm fine now. Ash won't be a problem." I said.
He sighed. "if you're so sure."

I watched down the hall as Ash leaned against Tiffany's locker, she was the girl Ash was with on the first day.
Ash said something, and she began to laugh hysterically.
He smiled his cocky sexy smile and glanced over at me. I couldn't read his facial expression, but he winked at me then leaned in and kissed her.
I rolled my eyes and looked away.
I was so confused, I hated Ash, he disgusted me. But seeing him kiss her, I don't know. I almost felt jealous. I missed him flirting with me.
I quickly pushed that thought away, as I walked down the hall and to my next class, Derek, one of Ash's friends was in the hallway.
I looked back at Ash, who was walking down the hallway towards us. A small appears on my face.
"Hey Derek." I said.
He turned to me and smiled
"Hey Bree. haven't seen you in a while"
I bit my lip. I could not believe what I was about to do.
I looked at Ash once more who was watching us now, and before I could stop myself I kissed him.
Derek was obviously surprised, but before I knew it he had his hands in all the right places and was kissing me back.
I pulled away and smiled. "see you later."
I looked at Ash who was staring at me with his eyebrows raised.
I winked and smiled just as he had done to me before turning my head and walking to class.

"You know, If you want to get some if this, all you have to do is ask. Otherwise stop staring at me and Tiff, it's creepy." Ash whispered in my ear from the desk behind me.
I rolled my eyes and turned around.
"Why would I want you? I have Derek, he is a much better kisser." I said smiling.
Ash smirked. "You can hide it all you want, I know you want this. and Derek will only stay with you as long as you let him in your pants. And we know how that turns out, Someone always takes it too seriously." he laughed.
I rolled my eyes and smiled.
"Better his pants then yours." I said turning around and continuing to take notes on how to debate.
She smiled. "Now lets have some volunteers to show us got its done." she said. About 5 people raised there hands, but Ms. Cross was strict, and and mean old lady.
"Bree, and Ash. You two seemed interested on the topic, you couldn't stop talking earlier."
I huffed. Not only did I hate public speaking, I also happened to hate talking to Ash.
I huffed as I stood up and went in front of the class, Ash beside me. He flashed my a smile then rolled his eyes looking back at Ms. Cross.
"You will be debating in school relationships. Ash, you're pro, Bree you con." she said.
I rolled my eyes. She had the same plastic smile plastered on her face waiting for us to continue.
It was as she knew. How could she though? It was monday, first period. News did not travel that fast.

"Relationships are fine, if you are just friends." I started.
I saw Ash roll his eyes beside me.
"But as soon as the relationship becomes romantic, especially at our age. It becomes a lot of work. Not only do we have school and grades to worry about. But we all have todo our community hours, and lots of us have jobs. Relationships just aren't practical at this time in out life." I said.
Ash sighed. "On the contrary, Being with someone who supports you will actually help you through high school. Who says you can't manage your time. Studying for a test with your partner won't hurt anybody, having someone you can trust and rely on isn't a bad thing at our age." He said.
I bit my lip looking for a come back.
"But most students find it hard to mange there time enough without any extra relationships. And If the relationship doesn't work out, not only is t dudes stress when ending the relationship, but it's added awkwardness around your peers, and we just don't need that on top of everything else." I looked at Ash as I said this, his eyes wondered around the class room, trying not to make eye contact with me.
"Ash, do you have an argument?" Ms. Cross asked
He sighed. " But if someone asks you out, and you say no automatically, not only are they left wondering why you don't like them, which is more stress. It will become awkward, where as if you dated and realized it wasn't working, there is still possibility for friendship." he said.

"Alright class, now you vote, lets see who has won against the jury, Ash, Bree you may take your seats."
Without looking at Ash once, I sat in my chair, looking down.
I wanted to get out of this class soo bad. I could feel Ash staring at my back, my stomach lurched back and forth.
I closed my eyes as my head seemed to circle around the class room.
The Bell rang, and I hopes to my feet stumbling a bit. I grabbed my back and rushed out of the classroom. I held my head down and tried to keep my balance as I got closer to the washroom.
"Not so fast." I looked up to Tiffany, her splintering eyes staring at me in disgust.
I held my stomach and kept my mouth closed. She pursed her lips looking at me up and down.
"I know you want my Ash." she started.
"I have to go" I said trying to push away from her.
She shook her head.
"I'm going to say this slowly for you, okay? He's. Mine. Don't talk to him. Don't look at him. Don't think about him. I will find out if you do" she smiled. I rolled my eyes.
"Understand?" she asked.
I opened y mouth to answer, but all that came out was white vile. I bent down holding my stomach as it went all over her. Her mouth hung open screaming and waving her arms around.
Her Louis Vuitton black heels now had white splotches in then and people began to come out of there classes, I wipe my mouth off and rushes away before anyone could say anything. I was never going to here the end of this.
