"Why didn't you tell me?" I asked.

He raised his eyebrows. "I just found out last night."

I sighed.

"Oh god, I am so so so sorry for yelling at you! I can't imagine how you feel! I mean, this is your brother, I just can't."

He shook his head. And wrapped arms around me. "Don't be sorry. I shouldn't have taken it all out on you." He said.

I was crying now.

"Do you want to come to the hospital with me?"

The hospital was all white. It made me think they were trying to make it look like heaven or something.

Brenda was in John's room with Andrew, talking to the doctor.

"The reason, I, I took everything out on you, was because, i didn't want to end up like you."

I looked up at him.

"What do you mean?"

He but his lip. "You've gone from so much. With your family and all. Your so strong. I don't know how you can cope with all this. And here I am. I'm a mess." He said.

I tried to swallow the lump in my throat.

"I didn't really have a choice."I said.

"My whole family is dead." I said.

"I guess, for me it's kinda like, I came either be sad and depressed. Or just enjoy my new family God blessed me with."

He smirked. "Wow, I've never really heard you talk like that." He said.

I laughed.

"Yeah we, despite your thoughts on me, I actually do have a soft spot. I bet you do to." I said.

He raised his eyebrows. "Me?" He said pointing to himself.

I nodded my head.

"Yes you."

He sighed. "Well, I think you might be outing to much faith to me then I deserve." He laughed.

I shook my head. "No I don't think so."

"What's she doing here?" Andrew

asked. The way he talked sounded like a teenage girl talking to someone she hated. Which with teenage girls, was a lot of people.

Ash sighed. "Andrew.."

"No! Why the hell is she here. Nobody else gets to come. Nobody else even knows, so why the hell some girls we don't even know here?" He asked.

"You know you have a point." I said.

"But, I think it might be easier to have me here first, because when your whole family comes, in sure you and John will be going through lots of emotions. And since you don't know me that well you might not want me to see them." I explained.

"I guess that makes sence." John said.

I smiled.

"You know, I think you guys are worrying for no reason." I said.

"What are you talking about? He has cancer, we have every right to be worried!" Andrew said. He was crying now. It made me want to break down and just hide in the corner.

"Yes, you do have every right to be worried. You just don't need to be.

My grandfather had the same type of cancer as John when he was 70. It went away just fine. The survival rate is high. John is young. He has a good immune system. We have nothing to worry about." I said.

"You were great in there." Ash said.

I smiled.

"Thanks."

"You are honestly amazing." He said.

We were siting on my bed eating popcorn.

It was 12 o'clock at night, and everyone else was asleep. Tomorrow, Brenda decided to break the news to the rest of the family. Ash and I knew there would be lots of tears, so we decided we would go do something else. We didn't know yet though, we just knew it would be too much to handle,

"Night." He said kissing me on the cheek.

"Night." I said a few moments after.
