I wake up in my bed but I feel something warm holding me from the back. And theres a arm around my waist. I turn around to see its ashley! And we are spooning!

Should I wake her up? "Hey ashley." I whisper

"Hmm" she says groggy

I giggle "open your eyes."

"What? Oh im so sorry." She moves away from me quickly.

I smile at her "Dont be sorry. Its okay."

She smiles back and blushes

"So you up for some breakfast?"

"Yeah im starving."

We go down stairs to my mom making pancakes.

"You girls hungry?"

"Yup" we both say

"So how did you guys sleep?"

We both look at each other

"We were really warm." I say looking at ashley and we both smile at each other

"Thats good and it looks like your still alive. So ashley didnt try to kill you."

"Yeah" me and my mom smile at each other but ashleys smile fades.

Hmm thats odd maybe she just doesn't like that we are joking about that.

"Anyway mom did you call marcus?"

"Yeah everythings good."

Cough cough "can I use the bathroom." Ashley says not looking at either of use. And she just stares at the ground.

"Of course sweetie."

"You can use the one in my room."

"Alright, thanks."

"How about you go get your dad and brother up?"

"Okay" I go to wake them up

Were all eating breakfast.

"I was wondering if one of you would come with me to go shopping for some clothes?"

"You dont have any clothes?"

"No I didnt have time to get any."

"Okay of course you can. Do you need money?"

"Mom!" Triston says

"Triston be quite."

"No, thank you though Margaret."

"Okay, ashley can go with you."

"What?" I say

My dad shoves my arm alittle.

"I mean yeah of course I can."

"Thank you rena."She says.

I smile at her and she returns one.

"Lets go get ready."

We both take turns in the shower and then were both dressed. And down stairs now.

"Are you all ready?"

"Yep"

"Okay, first before we leave I should teach you how to defend yourself against eric."

"Okay.."

"Hold this stake. And try to go for my heart."

"What?! Im not going to kill you."

"If im fast enough you won't. So do it."

"Im scared."

"what are you going to do if there running after you? You cant hesitate. They will kill you right on the spot. Dont think just do!"

"Okay okay! Here goes nothing"

she goes for my heart but im faster and grab her arm and pull it behind her back. And im close to her ear. And I whisper.

"You just became erics lunch." I could feel her shiver under my touch.

We practiced for about an hour until she did okay. And then left to go to the mall.

"Were here."

"Woah what is this place?"

"You've never seen a mall before."

"No, is that bad."

"Kinda" I laugh at her

"Hey!" She hits my arm.

"Lets go inside"

"Alright" she says and we walk inside and she spots the merry go round.

"What is that? Its so pretty."

"You have never seen a merry go round?"

"Nope."

"What town do you live in?"

And she doesn't answer she just grabs my arm and drags me to the merry go round.

"Please go on with me?" Shes doing a puppy dog face.

"Fine"

We pay the guy and get on.

After we went two more times. She gets off laughing.

"That was awesome!"

I just smile at her.

"What?" Shes looking at me.

"Nothing, your just cute." Wait! What did I just say?!

Shes grinning at me

"I mean the way you acted was ccute." I say embarrassed

She just grabs my hand. And pulls me into a store. "Lets get some clothes now."

Her hand feels so nice in mine. Wait what?! No no no im just supposed to look after this girl. Plus I dont know if I can even trust her.

She lets go of my hand. And starts looking at clothes. "Ooo look I love this flower top!"

"It is pretty you should go try it on. Maybe with this flower head band."

"Are they real flowers? She looks excited inspecting them. "Oh nope to bad." She says bummed "I could always make my own."

"Thats cool. So your into flowers."

"Not just flowers, theres trees, nature its just so pretty."

I smile at the way she explains what she loves.

"But anyways im going to go try this on."

"Okay I'll be here."

"No. You should try this on" she hands me a colorful shirt thats colorful with rainbows on it and a waterfall.

"Uh thats not really my style."

"Come on I bet you will look beautiful in it."

I blush at that. Why am I blushing??

"Okay I guess I will."

Were finally done shopping and yes ashley made me get the shirt I got to admit I actually look pretty good in it. And there were no vampires which I'm happy about and Ashley is too.

We walk in the front doors.

"Okay you can just go put your clothes upstairs."

"Alright will do."

"Mom, dad, triston we are home. Where are you guys?" Just then I see eric holding my mom with a knife to her throat in the living room. And my dad and brother are tied up with erics minions watching them.

"What the hell?! How did you get in here?!"
