Chapter 25

    Yang went up onto the roof to scout for potential problems, and I forced Weiss to stay with Yang. Though it wasn't easy to make her, she realized this I would not allow, and gave in. I stood at the grate, beginning the pattern on it. Slowly it creaked open.

     A narrow stair case that swirled appeared. Pulling Crescent Rose I began my descent. Slowly I turned the first corner, and checked it and did it about twenty more times before reaching a narrow hallway which led into a large room, filled with machines, "Code Red! Ruby hide!", Weiss yelled through my earpiece.

   I saw a small crook between the stairs and wall, and hid there. Their foot steps were many. I pulled from my pocket a fly drone, and my folded glass piece that allowed me to see whatever the drone was. Sending it off I flew it at the top of the room.

   After five minutes of sitting there a man appeared on stage, I recognized him as part of the board. One of the ones who convinced the others against us. Out stepped a White Fang member as well as a scientist, "As you can see Sir, our efficiency has improved our serum. They will, once it is put into the small chip, obey any command given to them." The scientist said, as I spotted Blake in the corner of the room, the board member spoke, "And they can't understand us or see us?" The White Fang member went to face Blake, who blankly stared back, the scientist shook his head, " No sir they can, they just don't have the means of controlling themselves to do anything about it."

    He looked pleased, "We'll take Vale and the rest of the world in no time." The White Fang member walked up, "Okay yeah, yeah. Impressive, great job, what do I get out of being here?" The Board man stood up straighter, "We want your forces, combined with ours they have no chance, " the Faunus began walking to get their injections, "We can take Vale and everywhere the light touches." The other laughed, "Sure you get what you want, we are just pawns."  The Board member held out his hand to stop the other, "You shall get the land of Mistral and take whoever you want. Make your own Government, trade, money. Whatever you please."

   The White Fang leader pondered this, "Fine that sounds fair, when shall we meet and where?" He smiled a crocodiles smile, " In three days time we shall attack that crater in the wall. There never is enough security there." They shook hands and the deal was made as I snuck from my hiding place and into the night.
