Claire stopped walking after what Norman said, he stopped too a little away from her "you think about me?" She asked trying to catch eyes with him, he fiddled around in his pockets looking everywhere but at her. "In what way?" She asked pressing on "as in..i wanna see more of you" he mumbled. Claire smirked, she hated to admit it but she wanted the same, the sex with Norman was something she had never before experienced, so much lust and deep passion, but she also wanted to explore his other depths, his personality and his emotions, she was always certain he didnt feel the same and the times during their grief it was just another notch being the way that he was with women. If she was going to do this it had to be for real, she couldnt put her heart out there if Norman would pick her up and drop her like he did with other women. "I want to see more of you too" she smiled. Holding out his hand she placed hers in his and he pulled her in for a gentle kiss, starting off slow as he softly let his tongue into her mouth sending shivers down her spine.
"How do we go about this?" She asked after the kiss finished, still wrapped in his arms, it was starting to turn chilly as the night wore on, taking off his jacket he placed it over her shoulder "see what happens" he nervously responded, it was clear Norman didnt do the dating, usually women fell at his feet with little ground work. Beginning to walk back towards her house they couldnt stop catching eyes with eachother and smiling . "Lets take it slow...no sex..yet anyway" Claire said laughing at Norman's face at 'no sex' comment "we will see how long that lasts" he chuckled sarcastically . Playfully pushing him Claire stated "no im serious. We have to see if this is real" Norman gave an accepting nod before kissing her on the cheek.
Getting home Claire made up the spare room for Norman as it was late, "taking it slow yea" she whispered as they kissed goodnight and went to bed. Lying in bed Claire smiled to herself at the prospects with Norman, the no sex rule would be really really hard but it would be worth it if it sparked something serious.
The next morning Claire made them breakfast but not before texting Lucy to explain what happened with Jack and check if she was alright. Oh sorry girl i tried! Maybe its meant to be with Norman? Have fun love ya xxx Lu The text made Claire smile, this was going to be fine and she needed to enjoy it. "Luce got back okay" Claire said to Norman as he scoffed pancakes dousing them in syrup as he did so. "Did ya tell her i rescued you last night?" Norman asked with a smirk and a mouthful of pancakes "yup said you was my knight in shining armour" Claire joked causing Norman to sarcastically roll his eyes "i think i am" he said with confidence puffing his chest out making Claire laugh "well..tonight i was thinking..movies and dinner?" Norman asked changing the subject, Claire thought for a minute "sounds good" she replied "me and Sean used to plan it so i picked the movie and he picked the place to eat or vice versa--" she added abruptly stopping when she realised what she had said. It went awkward for bit, Norman gave a small nod and prodded a pancake on his plate with his fork. "Im sorry. I dont know why i said that" she muttered immediately thinking about Sean "its fine, we will do it how you want, taking it slow remember?" Norman reassured her. Norman went home to shower and change, he was meeting Claire in a few hours so she used this time to bathe, pamper herself and get ready.
"You look gorgeous" Norman beamed as Claire opened the door to greet him, she couldnt help but smile and blush at his compliment, he looked hot too in a casual shirt and jeans. "Shall we?" He asked raising his arm for her to take. Arriving at the movies they playfully bickered over which film to see "im not watching a rom com Claire" Norman moaned pretending to put his foot down "well that stupid Adam Sandler one it is then" Claire sighed. It didnt make a difference which film they saw they spent their time in the back row making out and whispering and giggling like teenagers.

"That couple at the front were not impressed" Claire giggled into Norman's chest as they left the screening, not once had they let go of eachothers hands, "did you see their faces everytime they turned round to stare at us?!" Norman said through laughs doing an impression of them. "Fuck dinner lets just go back to mine" Claire stated pulling Norman's arm as he walked, turning to look at her he was uncertain but Claire gave him a seductive glance "What about taking it slow sweetheart?" He asked, sincerity in his voice. "I like you..i like you a lot. I dont want to take it slow, lets just do this, after everything i dont want to waste anytime...I want to be with you Norman" she told him "Claire i wont lie i am crazy about you, all i want to do is be with you day in day out" he replied before pulling her into a kiss, cradling the back of her head as he deepened it and pulling her closer with his other hand around her waist.
Arriving back at Claire's the pair laid under the covers in bed and spent most the night talking before falling asleep cuddled up. It was then Claire began feeling that Norman may be her soulmate in this life and not Sean.
